We attended J(13)'s first football game yesterday. We sat out in the sun from about 11:00am until 1:00pm. Dan and the band were there playing and it was a "homecoming game" of sorts with his school playing their longtime rival. Dan and J(13) both did great! J(13) had made the team for the week and got to play second string and got several great plays in. He is a tall kiddo that has proven to be a great tackle. He got within about a second of sacking the quarterback when he went in. He got kudos from the coach with a little, "get there faster next time" sidebar! LOL He shows promise and really enjoyed the team aspect. I was one proud Mama... and a bit of lobster to boot! LOL
