Ladies, everything went VERY smoothly.  The following update may be TMI but I am amazed at how God has gotten me through this so well.

*  Surgery is suppose to be about a two hour procedure.  I was out in 1.5 hours.
*   My ovaries were much too "beautiful" (to quote the doctor) to even consider removing them.
*   Voiding came very quickly and everything adjusted back to normal quickly
*   No blood clots
*   No fever
*   No upset tummy
*   lots of sleep
*   pain pills are good
*   eating normally within 36 hours after surgery
*   came home yesterday late afternoon and ate and went to bed. 
*   I was originally scheduled to go home today but did very well and got the early go-ahead


Dan got a new battery for my cell-phone so it is good to go now.  Thanks for all of your prayers through this time.  I still have much recovery ahead but I feel it will go quickly and I will be obedient in all the instructions the doctor gave to insure it. 



PS.  Dan is not a techie so he was not able to update here.  He is SO afraid of the blog screen!  LOL

What a relief. *hugs* I am so glad you get to keep your ovaries. I understand that is sooo connected to mothering feelings. I know you will continue to have discomfort as you heal, but I hope it is mild and the recovery short. I am thankful it went well. God bless you.

Don't know what the surgery was all about, but isn't it nice our insides can be described as gorgeous??? Glad you're home and purposed to obey the doc. Makes a huge difference. Just ask my Daddy!!
