I bet y'all thought I fell off the edge of the world.

Knowing that I've been gone for a time *coughfourmonthscough*, I've decided to take up blogging once again. I never really quit anyways. But let's not get technical, m'kay? Tecnicallities will be one of the many deaths I will die.

So to start things off, there are a few links I would like to share with those who write.

Websites:

Free Rice. An interesting site, you can help end poverty while furthering your education. Killing two birds with one stone, right? Right.

Dictionary.com. The name says it all. You can even sign up for a daily e-mail that will feature a Word of the Day.

Advice on Novel Writing.

Articles:

Writer's Digest - Surviving the spite. A pep-talk for those who are going to publish their literary work.

Writer's Digest - What Agent's Hate. Furthermore, you might want to look at this also so you don't end up reflecting on the above page.

TOC About Writing. This link has all sorts of helpful advice. No seriously, it does.

Ten Things Teenage Writers Should Know. Another pep-talk. It's a really good one, too.

Novel Outlining 101.

Questionnares, Lists, Charts, etc.:

The 100 Most Important Things to Know About Your Character. It's a questionnaire (anyone besides me find these things fun? show of hands, please?) designed for your character.

Character Chart. On the same level as the questionnare, but in the form of a printable chart.

Fantasty Novelist Exam. It happens to the best of us, but hopefully with a few choice questions and truthful answers we can by past it. This link is to help one get to know their story on a different scale then before.

Not So Grand Cliche List. I don't know about you guys, but I love cliche lists. Love 'em. Designed to help you avoid hackneyed plot points/sequences/whatever, they also serve to be a source of late night amusement.

Grand List of Fantasy Cliches.

Novel Outline. A list of questions that will help one outline their novel.

Writing.com: Blank Novel Outline.

*cough* Uhm. Yeah, that got a bit out of hand. Some of these links may or may not show up on the sidebar in a few days, I'm still a bit hesitant.

Anyways, a few things. I will be updating the blog once every month, probably on Wednesday's. I'll also be doing..."secranized" posts that will keep "on topic" (unless I want to ramble which should be pretty often). And, yes, I did just type all that to fill in space.

Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler. Filler.

Bleh. Yeah, I'm back.

'Till next month.

Kayla.

Hey Kayla,

So sorry I haven't been by and left you a comment. . . I've been spending a lot of time on Facebook and another site.
I'll have to tell my sister about what you posted! She's writing a story right now and I think she might be interested in some of them. :)
So, how have you been?
Hope you had a wonderfully blessed day!

lots of hugs,
Jordan Lee
