I know it's a little late in the game for this, but I wanted to share it all the same.
Okay, so on my writing site they set forth this challenge, read over 100 books before the end of the year. We all got to pick what books we wanted on the list and it became interesting, sadly though the list wasn't finished but if we chose to, we could edit it to our liking. So, I did. Before the end of 2009 I hope to read a 125 books with three being a series. That's a lot, yes? Well, I needed something to do. Anyways! I wanted to share a few books off the reading list with you.
1. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
2. The Sword in the Stone by T.H. White
3. The Life of Pi by Yann Martel
4. 1984 by George Orwell
5. The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Album
6. The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
7. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
8. The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck
9. A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
10. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
11. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
12. Lord of the Flies by William Golding
13. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
14. Homer
15. The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare
16. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
17. The Turn of the Screw by Henry James
18. Treasure Isalnd by Robert Louis Stevenson
19. Dracula by Bram Stoker
20. The Scarlet Letter by Nathanial Hawthorne
21. To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee
So far, I've finished only two, but I still have ten and a half months left. I'm hoping to finish five within this month alone. Make your own list and make it outrageously long, too. Then tell about it. =) We can compare.
Ah, and the title is a quote from Stephen R. Covey.

Thats such a good idea, I think I might just do that :) 1984 is such a fascinating book, I think it should be on everyone's reading list. Lord of the Flies...have fun with that one. Sick sick sick book :) But worth reading all the same. It really shows true human nature, not that we didn't know how bad we were in the first place, but oh well. Anyways, good luck!!

Really? Cool! Marine snipers are pretty hard core!
My brother wants to be in the infantry as a support gunner with an M249 SAW light machine gun.
He gets out of boot camp very soon, and then gets a ten day leave. after that he ships out to camp Lajune. From there he would probably go to either Iraq or Afghanistan.

The battle of Thermopally. I saw 300. It was amazing how they filmed it.
It's hard to think that the sons of Jacob had that much power and more!

Hey Kayla!
How's life treating you?
Thanks, we're making it through, one day at a time. :)
Ha, don't worry, I, too, seem like I'm always wishing someone a "happy belated birthday"! :D
Sarah is doing fine. Don't worry, I totally got on her case about her not responding to you PM. I'll make sure she reply's soon! :) She has been working a whole lot on one of her stories. I just wish she would let me read it! =D
Well, I hope you have a wonderfully blessed day!
lots of hugs,
