I’m back from our family vacation.  We went to Wash.,DC and NC then we went to VA and then we went to NJ then came home to VT. We swam at the beach. My Dad, my brother and I got caught in a rip-tide but we escaped it. You swim sideways until you can come in to shore. The ocean kayak tipped over two times. A tropical storm went up the coast, but not inland. The waves got big when it went up the coast.

 It’s nice being home again. When we first got back I was cold. Now I’m hot.

I'm also glad we are home, but I really liked being away. I love the beach so much. Just sitting in the sand and digging holes, running into waves, getting crushed by waves, but mostly I love to body surf. It is such a wonderful feeling when the wave catches you. I like using a boggy borad too, especially when you ride up onto the beach!
