North Alabama Educators Conference
Saturday, August 5th, 2006

9:00 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m.
at Central Church of Christ (on Clinton Ave, near Downtown Huntsville)
Please join us for a day of encouragement as you prepare to begin another (or your first!) year of teaching your children!
Registration begins at 9:00. Workshops begin at 9:30.
(There will be 4 workshop times throughout the day: 9:30 - 10:30, 11:00 - 12:00, 1:30 - 2:30, and 3:00 - 4:00; and plenty of time to browse, shop, and talk to other home educators!)
Pre-register by Thursday, July 27th (extended date) for $5.00 per family (And receive a $5.00 coupon to use later ! at Creative Learning Connection.)
Or register the day of the fair for $8.00 per family.

Answers in Genesis; Longing for Home; NEST Family; VAST
Network; and several others...
Speakers include:
Cindy Rushton, Christie Berry, Catherine Jaime, and several
others...
(I do have a longer list of both vendors and speakers, but trying to get the complete list out has kept me from getting an incomplete list out sooner! So here's what I have available right now!)
Workshops will include topics such as "Getting Started Homeschooling"; "Say Goodbye to Super Mom"; "Teaching on a Shoestring"; "Lapbooking"; and "Teaching Teens" Christie
Berry will also be addressing "Special Needs" issues. We should also have several workshops dealing with family issues, music education, and Creation Science. (There will be at least 3 workshops during each time slot to choose from.)
