The first concert features highly-acclaimed professional jazz musicians. Ray, Tom and Sonny play and teach throughout Alabama, and around the world! The second concert, features the Shoals Concert Band; men and women from our community who enjoy getting together to play for fun--and it is fun to hear them play.
"Ray Reach and Friends" will be playing at Grace Episcopal Church, Sheffield, on Tuesday afternoon, July 25, 5:00-6:00 p.m., during the W. C. Handy Jazz Festival. Performers will be Ray Reach, piano; Tom Wolfe, guitar; and Sonny Harris, drums. These professional jazz musicians will
provide the best of jazz sounds in this free concert. A gumbo dinner will be served at the church at 6:00 p.m. Advance ticket purchase for the dinner is recommended. (256-383-7950). The Shoals Concert Band will play at 7:00, also free of charge.
