Just a quick baseball update.  Baseball is going well.  We've won the first 3 of our games. 19-2, 29-7, and 9-8. We don't play again until next week.  I've been playing catcher and pitcher, it has been lots of fun.

We went to Touch a Truck today.  It was cool.  There were lots of vehicles there and a helicopter.

I guess I should update my blog.  Not much going on. We moved to Colorado in March.  It took a while , but we're finally settled. 

Baseball practice started and it looks like I'll be catcher, pitcher and 3rd baseman.  It will be fun and hard because I've only played catcher for the last few years.  I'm hitting well this year.

Oh , here's something cool.  I got a new laptop last week. It's a Toshiba and I like it a lot.

I can't believe April is just about gone.  It's been a good and busy month.  We spent a couple of long weekends back in Utah getting the house ready for sale.  Jase and I helped Dad re-shingle the roof, clean up the yard, and some other odds and ends.

We've kept busy in Colorado.  We go to the activity center every day and play racquetball and basketball.  We also swim for about an hour.  We'll be able to start golfing soon and baseball will start next month, so we're excited for that.

I'm really excited about  ERAGON the movie that's coming out later this year. This is my 2nd favorite book series.  I've read Eragon and Eldest and I can't wait for Inheritance to come out.  Until then, the movie will have to do.  Check out the Eragon movie website: http://www.eragonmovie.com/

I've just come back from seeing HP and the Goblet of Fire.  I really liked it, but so much was left out.  My favorite part was when he was up against the horntail.  My least favorite part was the Quidditch World Cup, sooooo much was left out.  But it was great nonetheless.

Not much going on here lately.  I'm digging a fort with some friends, I'll post pics of that later. Basketball hasn't started yet so we've mostly been playing baseball and dodge ball in the back yard. 

We're going to Salt Lake this weekend to go to Cabellas and to go to a Real game. I'll post pics of the soccer game when we get back.

Here I am with my new rifle.  It's a Marlin.

My name is Alec.  I'm 12 years old. I have lot of interests.  I enjoy sports, my favorite to play is baseball and golf.  My team did really well this year.  We took 1st in our division and 1st in our Colorado tournament, and 3rd in the All-Star tournament.  I play catcher.  I've been a catcher for 5 years.

I love golf.  In my first tournament of this summer, I placed 2nd.  I played in 3 more tournaments this summer but didn't place, but that's o.k. it was lots of fun. I usually place 1st or 2nd in the tournaments here in town.

I like to read Harry Potter books and listen to the books on cd.  Other books I like are Eragon, The Pendragon series, Jimmy Fincher Saga, and lots more.

I enjoy video games.  Mainly things like Halo, but we have lots of different kinds of games.

I just turned 12 on Aug.5.  I got a .22 rifle for my birthday.  I'll post a pic of that later.  It's really cool.
