Today I helped my dad clean carpet. It was a lot of fun. I helped drag the hoses up the steps. Once we got the hoses up the steps he cleaned one half of the first room he noticed that the heater was not working. We finally got it to work again. Now he has got Catherine with him to help him clean another job. Later he is going to take us to get some ice cream. I will post again soon. Alexey

Last week my mom had a baby. He is very cute. In this picture he is about two days old. I like him very much. I will post more about him later. |

We are moving. I like living in this house. There is a big yard and there is a big hill in the back yard. Yesterday my sister Catherine, and my cousin and I went up the hill and started to make a fort. It is fun to build forts. One time when we went up the hill Catherine found a turtle shell. I think it is fun to play in the Woods.

For Christmas I got some CDs called Jonathan Park. They are very good stories. I really enjoy them. |

Today I watched President Ford's funeral. His funeral was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The church was very interesting. He was a very good president because he put other before himself. His presidential museum is in Michigan. At the funeral, President Bush Senior gave a funny speech. |

My grandfather had some men thin the pine trees. When you thin pine trees it means to cut them when they get to big and close together. You cut some of them so they can get bigger. It was fun to watch. One day, Daddy showed us all the machines. When they were through, Noah, Catherine and I went to pick berries. We had been waiting and waiting for the men to be through, but when we got there,to our surprise, all the berries were dried up. So, we just played for a little while. On the way home, we found a black berry bush. It did not have many berries on it so we had to try another day .We had a bunch of fun.

My Grandfather has seven horses. Popcorn, Cocoa, and Redfox are in one pasture. Smoky, Rusty and Tiger are in another. Scout is in a pasture by herself.
my mom and I feed the horses. Popcorn always gets the last bucket. Sometimes, Cocoa and Redd Fox share a bucket.
Tiger is Scouts baby. Everyday, he acts more and more like her. When we feed Scout, she gets anxious. She whinnies and pulls her bucket toward her.
Smokey and Rusty are Tennessee Walking Horses. Smokey is black with a white blaze. To me, his blaze looks like a house that has a chimney with smoke coming out. My mom wants Smokey to be called Winsome. Winsome means handsome in a naive way. Rusty is a rusty color. He is black, brown and red mixed together. He is a good horse.
Cocoa's color is chocolate. To me, the reason he is called Cocoa is because he looks like fizzy coke. |

Popcorn is the horse I like to ride. He is a gaited horse. He is a four-year-old sorrel foxtrotter. My Grandfather and Grandmother got him from Missouri. The reason I like Popcorn is because he is a very calm horse. Sometimes Popcorn is a little laxy, but he does what I tell him to do. One habit that Popcorn has is to try to eat grass on a trail ride, but I do not to let him. I always like to keep his mane brushed out. Once, when we came back from a trail ride, I brushed Popcorn's mane. As soon as I let him go into the pasture, he rolled. One reason I like Popcorn is because when we go on trail rides with other horses he does not care if he is in the front, back or middle. And that is why I like Popcorn. |
