Nov. 14, 2009 - Our trip to Tennessee & Our anniversary

Josh and I went to Tennessee with our families the last week of October.  Some things we did was shopping in Gatlinburg, Josh bought me a shirt there.

went to the Smoky Mountain National Park, went to an apple orchard and had some yummy apple fritters

The cabin we stayed at was really pretty and we had a lot of fun.

We also spent time at his Aunt and Uncle's house and they are really nice and their house is awesome.

On our last day there we had our anniversary.  Josh gave me a charm bracelet that I wanted and a charm, and a he wrote a card for me.  I gave him a tennis outfit, a dress shirt and a jar of kisses and huges with lots of little notes of things I love about Josh mixed in with them.  That night we went to an Italian restaurant.  It was really good and they gave you a ton of food. 

We had a really good time.  Now we are getting ready for the holidays.

Sep. 24, 2009 - 18th birthday

Last Friday was my 18th birthday/manhood ceremony. It started with me having my picture taken with my 125 closest friends.

(it took too long but was nice seeing people I hadn't seen in a long time) After that the ceremony started. It consisted of ten men that have or has had influence on my life giving me a speech on some aspect of manhood or Christianity.

My dad closed with his speech and prayer. Then there was supposed to be a picture slide show for me but the equipment at the church didn't work so we ate cake and ice cream and played volley ball instead.

The next day was my actual birthday. I spent the morning opening cards and playing with my nephews who came for the party.  We all (family and LaMeres) went to Olive Garden for lunch, then came back to my house to swim and play video games.

Aug. 20, 2009 - Josh's recital

Josh had a piano recital in May and after it was over he played Bella's Lullaby for me.  Then we went to a graduation party.  It was a fun night.

I haven't been blogging much because I'm on facebook but I'll try to keep up with this better too.

Jul. 3, 2009 - Our doubles tournament

Josh and I were in a doubles tournament in May.  We had to play adults so we lost but had a good time.  It would be cool to do one where we could play other teenagers sometime.

May. 27, 2009 - Randomness

We've been having so much fun lately on the weekends.  It's been awesome.  Sunday he left with his family to go to Washington D.C. and we've been staying at his house the whole week, I love it!  We've been swimming and my mom and I have been watching romance movies. 

Sunday my brother Zarek and I are getting baptized.  We're also moving to our new house this week. 

May. 27, 2009 - Shrimp Festival

About a month ago we went to the Shrimp Festival.  First we went to the parade and we had my cousins with us.

Then two days later we went back and walked around.  Here we are watching the pirates trying to invade the port, they failed, lol.

Then we went out to eat with his sister and her son, then back to his house for swimming.  It was a fun day!

May. 26, 2009 - Tennis Banquet

In April Josh had his tennis banquet and he asked me to go.  We had a nice dinner and then they gave out awards.

My baby won the MVP award for the 2nd year in a row!!!

I'm so proud of him!  He's such an awesome tennis player.

May. 13, 2009 - Prom

Last month Josh and I went to the prom.  We had so much fun!  Here we are at his house and I'm pinning on his rose.

May. 4, 2009 - 6 Months!

This is the very first picture of just Josh and I that was ever taken.  Thanks mom! :)

I knew he liked me and I was starting to like him too.  This was July 9th of last summer.

In October we officially started a relationship and it's been awesome, just gets better and better.  I'm so blessed to have him in my life.  We always have a great time together and I love being with him.

Last week was our 6 month anniversary and I can't wait for our one year.  I love you Josh, you are awesome.  I love everything about you.  <3  You're a great person and I look forward to lots of great times ahead.

Here we are almost a year later at the same beach.  Dang, we look waaay better now!  lol

Apr. 15, 2009 - districts

Hi, it's josh. My tennis season ended 2 weeks ago. Over all I did well in singles and doubles and had a good time. At the end of the season all of the local teams play in the district tournament. On the first day everyone plays singles. I got a buy in the first round, but lost in the second. I can't remember the score but I won the first set. It started raining around 5:00 ending the first day. The second day I played doubles with Ryan, the #1 guy. the match was stoped a couple of times because of weather, but we got through it. My serve was off and Ryan didn't play very well, so we lost. I had a good time with Lexi despite losing and can't wait for next year.

Apr. 15, 2009 - The Beach

A couple of weeks ago Josh and I went to the beach.  My brother and sister were up there flying kites and we met them up there.  We just walked on the beach and then sat and talked.  I can't wait until it's hot enough to get in the water!

Apr. 11, 2009 - Josh Playing Elves' Dance

Last night I went to Josh's house and after dinner we watched National Treasure and then he played the piano for me. This is one of the songs. I'll post the other one in a few days. He's so talented!! I love it when he plays the piano for me.

We had tennis today, here's a picture of us.

A couple of weeks ago Josh and I went to St. Augustine with our families for the day.  It was fun, we rode the trolley mostly, had lunch, visited a church and the fort there.

I am waaay behind on blogging!  So a few weeks back we went bowling.  I hadn't been in a long time and I had a lot of fun.

Mar. 22, 2009 - Beach & Tennis

Two weeks ago it was hot so we went to the beach, it was really fun.  It felt like forever since we had been to the beach.   I laid out to tan for a while, then I played with my little brother and sister in the tide pools.

I've been going to all of Josh's games.  This is a pic of me and him between his matches last week.  It is a lot of fun to watch him, he has maddd skills.

Mar. 16, 2009 - Tennis Tournament

On Saturday, March 7, Josh and I were in a tennis tournament.  This is a picture of us before we started playing.  It was a really nice day out and we were playing at courts I had never played at before.

 I did ok, not as good as I should have but I hadn't played tennis in a while. I had a good time though and came in 3rd out of 4 players.  -Lexi

Mar. 5, 2009 - Josh's Tennis Match Tuesday

Tuesday Josh had his tennis games in Callahan and it was so cold outside!  Here he is warming up.

He played great and he won his doubles match.  This is how cold it was, his mom made me put on his pants, jacket and an extra jacket.

That's me under all that!  You can see the tips of my converse, lol.  See what a diehard fan I am?  It was like 30 degrees outside!  Then we went out to dinner.

Today he did so awesome in his matches, he won his singles and doubles and had some killer moves. 

Tomorrow my friend Brennan is coming over to spend the night and in the evening we're going to a science fair that Josh is in.  Saturday Josh and I have a tennis clinic and I'm not sure what we're doing after that.  Should be a fun weekend.

Feb. 27, 2009 - Stuff

Thursday I went to Josh's tennis matches and he won them both.  After we went out to dinner.  Today I went and got my hair cut and then we went to game day at his house.  It was ok, I wasn't in a great mood today.  I went over on the minutes on my cell phone and caused our bill to be more than double what it usually is.  My parents weren't too bad about it though so I'm lucky.  So I have to be more careful and try to use it mostly on the weekends and after 9 during the week.  I still can use it during the week but have to keep it short.

So Josh finally got a facebook and his own email so we won't be using this blog to communicate with each other anymore.  So sorry to disappoint those of you who came here just to read what we write to each other.  We'll still blog about the things we do sometimes.

Feb. 23, 2009 - Our Weekend

Saturday Josh and I had a tennis clinic.  It was Ok but half the kids got to play doubles and I had to do drills with the other half.  I wanted to play.

Later we went to Josh's house and hung out, had dinner and later we came to my house and watched The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.  The second one was cheesy.  Yesterday we both went to church and grace group and then I had to do history when I got home, but Josh called and saved me from it for a while.
