Rhydian
Located southeast of Alondae, near the foothills of the Landis Mountains, Rhydian has always been a hive of industry, filth, and war. It prides itself on producing nearly three quarters of the weaponry of Eordain--although the city itself is ill-suited for battle. The walls have long been in disrepair, and Cael tells me the people would bow to an imposter before openly resisting him.
Since the rule of my husband, Rhydian has somewhat reformed itself. The king has paid out of his own pocket for the walls to be rebuilt, and measures have been taken to care for the orphans who previously lived openly in the streets. Govind says that soon the city that furnished the war will be a picture of prosperity!
Cael promises to take me there one day. He has seen it often, in dark times, and I myself have been within its boundaries once, although my errand that day was far too grave to allow for pleasure. Soon my brother and I shall return there in times of peace, to live again the memories of days gone by.
