Nov. 10, 2005 - Hi! I just signed up today!

This is totally new to me, blogging I mean. I've heard of it, but never actually checked it out myself. I'm really excited to find this web site, especially since it's in one of my favorite areas, homeschooling. Schooling has become such an important part of our lives, I find myself always in the mind set to help encourage my little neighbor children to learn about something, which was really easy over the summer with our garden growing and all the little creepy crawlies around. Children have such natural curiosities, and I really miss those days with young ones around. They seem to grow up waaay too fast!! I guess I should mention that our family is a homeschooling family, but we've moved past the days of looking for bugs and learning to read. My guys are all young adults now.
