Mystic, Easter & some food pics

My fantastic friend, Sue, has a membership to Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT, and we took a trip there with her on April 30th.  Our kids have known each other their whole lives, and always have a great time together.

A few weeks before the aquarium trip was Easter.  We taught Sunday School, boy, were those kids antsy!  Maybe some of them had chocolate before church.  :)

We went to a potluck dinner at Kyle & Beth's house.  My friend, Julie, came with us (her family lives in NJ).  My mom and dad also stopped by for a bit.

Working with The Pampered Chef, I am always trying new recipes at my shows.  Why I waited so long to try this one with my family, I'll never know.  It's a Deluxe Cheeseburger Salad, and my family went nuts for it. :)  A bed of lettuce, topped with ground beef mixed with ketchup, mustard, diced onion and diced pickles, topped with shredded cheddar cheese and tomatoes.  YUM.  I just had to post a pic.
