Back from a blogging break!

Honestly, I knew it had been a while since I blogged, but didn't realize it had been over a month!  My apologies!

July was a busy month!  I had fully anticipated having the kids do a bit of math here or there over our summer break.  I did not anticipate them completely disregarding my wishes. :(  So not much work got done last month.

We did have a very fun beach day with my friend, Sue.

On July 12th, our church had a potluck picnic at Goddard Park.  We had beautiful weather (unlike the gazillion days of rain we had the rest of July).  Here are some pictures of my friends.

This is my friend Patrick's son.  He is in my Sunday School class.  He doesn't look like he'd be a bit of trouble, does he? LOL  He's a rascal! And we love him!

I was able to take Eli & Maddie to the beach one Sunday evening.  Patience was sleeping at her friend's house.  Amazing how much easier it is to go out with just 2 kids, even when they're bigger!

There was a full moon in July--funny enough. LOL  Here's the view from our deck.

Here's our big boy, Selden.  Some big changes were in store for him by the end of the month!
