Last Beach Day

It's officially too cold to go to the beach anymore.  I certainly don't mind autumn, but we're trying to hold off on putting the heat on until 11/1.  We don't usually make it.  :)  The downstairs baseboards are all dusted, vacuumed out and ready to go.  I still have to do the upstairs baseboards.

We did manage one last beach trip the last week of September.  I'm so glad we went now that the chilly weather is here!  It was a really windy day, and the waves were huge!

Needless to say, the kids were not cooperating!

We were only there for a few hours, but I'm so glad we went.  It's such a blessing to be able to take time to enjoy beautiful weather when we have it!   We'll have plenty of days (like today!) when the weather is crummy, and we need to stay inside!
