Aside from the learning that happens in the course of life, which itself is very potent, most intentional instruction has ended for the next two weeks as I organize and pack for our trip.
My posts might be a little manic, but bear with me
I am enjoying all of the beautiful weather I can while preparing for the trip. All of the shopping is done as far as non-food items go, except one more pair of water shoes being necessary, as Magnanimous ran over his with the lawnmower yesterday. Thank God, his feet were not in them at the time.
Our Wal Mart, mall, and Barnes & Noble are all 55-75 minutes away. We needed some stuff there, but last night I made good use of on-line shopping. Remember clicks for homeschoolers when you shop! I was so busy that a credit card company rep. called this morning to check on our cards activity. Nice of them!
It is bittersweet to go on a trip; I love it here, Im here 99.99% of the time, and I love the weather this time of year. However, trips are needed from time to time. To the anonymous commenter at SpunkyHomeschoolers post the other day, homeschoolers discussing home church, Id like to add home Birth and Home death: there- now no one ever has to go anywhere.
The best part about leaving home is you get to experience the joy of coming back again!
