I am bringing our children to the University today to do a bug parade with their Dad. They parade with a large caterpillar and hand out info on my husband's entomology class.
There is good thought provoking reading here from The Anchoress about the shift to the 60-70's some sense, and a whole lot of other things.
Wanted to let you know I posted to your son's blog about his rooster. I'm sorry it took so long! We've just got back from a trip to Houston for a family member's wedding.
To answer your question to me - I used to have a blog at blogger.com for several years, before I started homeschooling. I gave it up for awhile as I got into the homeschool groove, then decided to pick blogging back up. I'm so glad to have found homeschoolblogger!
We homeschool our 6 children in rural Vermont. Our horse family consists of a black pony and an off-track Thoroughbred. We give Jesus the praise and God the glory for all the victories in this life. I have an eye on and my heart in eternity.
I love Vermont because of her hills and valleys, the scenery and invigorating climate.
But most of all because of her indomitable people.
They are a race of pioneers who almost beggared themselves for others.
If the spirit of liberty should vanish from the rest of the Union, and our
institutions should languish, it all could be restored by the generous store
held by the people in this brave little State of Vermont.
