Feb. 29, 2008 - Howdy!!
I dropped by your blog earlier today and read about your sister. That has to be tough. I had a childhood friend who was stabbed to death about 7 years ago now. It is strange when it actually happens to somebody that you know. She was maybe 20 - drugs where involved and she left 2 babies behind. They luckily where with Grandma that weekend, otherwise, who knows what would have happened to them. Grandma didn't go through the trail though because the girls where very young - both under 3 - it wouldn't have been to beneficial for them. Their Grandma was also my school teacher when I was 5/6 grade.
I am sure you have heard of Mike Pearl. He has a CD called When Forgiveness is a Sin? I would highly recommend it to you, it is really good. He points out some misconceptions of this forgiveness doctrine that is preached now a days.
Take care. Hope all goes well in the courts.
