Nov. 24, 2008 - Fire Fighting

Well, I just got off the phone with the fire department here in Princeton. Just called to say that I would like to be a volunteer fire fighter and if there is anything I could do to help out I would be willing to do it. I got their answering system so I left a message and I am waiting for them to call back. It should be neat to see what comes of this. I don't think I am Legally able to rush into burning buildings until I am 18 but I can clean the trucks and things like that. Maybe they will let me go along for the ride some time that would be cool!

Any way, I'll be sure to keep you all updated.

WOW what a week! I put in 42 hours in just over a week at Radio Shack and its not likely to slow down any time soon. Thank goodness for laptops or I would not get any blogging done. ;-)

  The other day I was told that I need to update my blog.

I didn't even know anybody read it. -not really, just been LA-Z

I think I work too hard at Radio Shack. My hours were increased largely! That is good I'll take all that I can because somehow I got it in my head that I need to have a drivers license and a truck. Both are almost just as expensive right know. I sometimes wish that I had parents that paid for all that but I have conservative parents. I'll let you think about that for a moment..............................

..........................ok that's enough. Speaking of that, I am not sure what to think of the presidential election. I have a co-worker that is a Bush hater and voted for McCain and thinks that it won't make that much of a difference, and is very annoyed at the fact that there are people that think it does. But gets REALLY annoyed at people that are taking down their flag and moving to Australia. I have another co-worker that thinks like me. He said "It's not the end of the world. It's just the beginning of the end of the world." BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!......My other co-worker did not think that was so cute.

I don’t think that Obama is the Antichrist but I am not ruling it out. Think with me for a moment. I would think that the Antichrist would have lots of support from the whole world, would be able to inspire many to be "better people", and a clue that the bible give us is that he will have some Roman blood. Let’s pick these apart a bit. Now the first one at first glance it seems that he is not popular enough. But if you go out of the US his popularity is very startling. It's like they all want him to be their leader. Hmmmmm. With a few really good years of President of the US right after such bad ones I think many more will start calling him the "Messiah". I have hard it from the Obama supporters and maybe you have too, that they have been or believe people will be inspired NOT to do things like murder or rape. That sounds dumb to me but not to all. Somehow they got a notion in their head that they don't have to pay their car payment or mortgage any more now that Barrack is in office. I heard a sound bite of a lady saying just that. If you don't have to pay your mortgage your car payment or credit card bills life then becomes less stressful and when there is less stress there will be less murder. I know I don't have to tell you about the people fainting when Barrack Obama looks in their direction. That kind of makes me think. Did people do that for Ronald Reagan?

 And my last point. The Bible gives us good reason to believe that the Antichrist will be of Roman descendants IF he is from where he says he is sorry Barrack fans he's not the guy. But nobody can prove where he was born or where his descendants are from and there is a rumor that when he was in Hawaii visiting his dying Grandma he had his birth records sealed. Basically this means that they buried them in cement. We will maybe never know where he was born. If he is the Antichrist I would think this would help him deceive many. For example: Guy 1# "Pete, I think that Barrack Obama is the Antichrist that the Bible talks about." Guy 2# "No, Greg! The Antichrist will be from Rome. Everybody knows that Barrack is from Kenya."

 Just some thoughts going on in my head. I don't know what will happen. I do know that the devil will use the most unexpected. Satan’s most powerful devices are the most subtle devices. The Antichrist may be a Popular Conservative.

P.S. Pay attention to all the talk of global government from the media, Barrack and other politicians all over the world. For the Christians in a way this is a good thing but there will be a day when our chances to share the gospel are over. This may be coming fast. God is always opening doors to witness but we need to seize the chance.

Don't waste your life.

May. 1, 2008 - First super cel of the year!!!!

At last there was a tiny cel that past right over our house. Tiny but it packed a punch. It droped some dime size hail on our house. That was neat!

There was supose to be one today but I don't know what happend to that.

1. When I was 12,  I swallowed a worm. A big long one. Why?? Because we were pretending to be on Fear Factor.

Jan. 29, 2008 - 4-H Sledding

We went sledding  with our 4-h group. That was crazy! It was relatively warm for Minnesota all last week then every thing must have frozen solid. We had quite the time. Most of the hill was bumps all the way down but one section was like strait down (not literally) with a 4 foot jump at the bottom. There was someone dumb enough to try it. That kind of lit the fire. Then, not to be out done, I gave it a try. My brother says I went ten feet in the air but I couldn't tell. It really wasn't so bad as long as you landed on your feet. If you land on your knees you will then have no disks.

Jan. 7, 2008 - Facing the Giants

Has anyone seen Facing the Giants? We had the movie for half a week and watched it like seven times. It was put on by a Baptist church in Georgia. They also were responsible for the movie Flywheel. Their latest will be called Fireproof. I highly recommend any of these for anyone.

Jan. 1, 2008 - Skywarn

 Sorry it has been so long since my last entry. I have been so busy with the holiday season.

I want to explain a little about Skywarn. Skywarn is the reason you get a weather report on tornados, hail, high winds, and flooding. When there is severe weather, Storm Spotters are out there. When they see something reportable, they will report it to either an emergency radio net or if there is no net they will call the National Weather Service (NWS) and the NWS sends out a report to your local radio station. If there is a net the net control will call NWS.

Dec. 14, 2007 - Who out there is in 4-H??

I have been in 4-H for a year and a half. Our club has 40-50 members all of them home schoolers. I was voted in the president this year. Two of my brothers were also elected as librarian and historian.
