Our Day out at Baltimores Inner Harbor! (Part 1)
We had so much fun at Balitmore Inner Harbor!!
Thank-you Acts for planning such a fun day.
I can't wait to see what we do next year.
My day started at 5 am. I had to sneak in to
get a bath before the teens woke up for school
and headed out. We packed a bag for baby and off we
went. I was a little worried about taking Spirit on the
trip alone. I worried that he would be a handful. A two
year old on a long bus ride not in a car seat. Then walking
so much without a stroller but he did fabulously!
The bus trip was uneventfuly. He sat and had a little snack.
Princess and Superboy played gameboy .
When we got there the kids were amazed. The first
thing they wanted to do was see the water way.
So we walked out to take a look and a photo of course.
Then we headed over to the aquarium!
National Aquarium
The kids could hardly stand it they were so excited.
This is where I had to go and check our stroller . You
are not allowed to take them into the aquarium. It
was amazing but it seemed as if no one was there. We
were the first to check our stroller.
The first room you walk into has an enourmous tank
with Stingrays in and a very large Turtle. It was hard to take
photos in the aquarium because of the lighting but I
managed anyway.
They really are amazing creatures. Very graceful and
beautiful.
Spirit was so cute. He didn't like the big fish. He would
Move the entire way to the other wall. So we had to watch
from a distance. The tanks were so large and full of
neat things to explore and look at. At one point we found
This guy. Princess said that we needed a photo of him
because we had to show daddy the kind of sized fish he
should be catching.
Heres another guy...
I think one of my favorite sites were the sea horses. I love
they way they move in the water and how they use their tails
to grab hold of things. We watched them for quit awhile before we
moved on.
