Tot School and the Color GREEN!

Hi again welcome to Tot school. It's that time
again to show everyonewhat we were up to all week
long. Spirit and I are still working on his speech.
Lots of songs and finger plays, charts and talking. We have
also been working on colors a little bit since Spirits
favorite thing to do is draw or paint. Take a look at our green week.

I started out by reading this book...

This is a great book to look at a few of the colors
and learn about theseasons. Spirit also grew a
green haired man.

Grass seed really grows quickly. We planted him
at the beginning of the week and he's already sprouting. We
glued on wiggles eyesbut Spirit drew his mouth and nose.
He did a pretty good job of it too. The bag in his lap
is a squishy bag. I sprayed white shaving cream into
a gallon ziplock bag along with some green food
coloring. I taped it shutjust to make sure it was secure
and Spirit squished away to find outthe mystery color.
By the end we should have the rainbow in Squishy bags.

That was about the extent of things this week.
He spent a lot of time outsidewith his aunt . She lives
next door. This way I was able to get some
much needed work finished with the older kids and
Spirit had some nicetime outside on his favorite toy his bike.
