Hey everyone... Here is an important e-mail that every asthma sufferer needs to tune in to read. I wrote this personally to everyone in my address book, it's my personal plea to help asthma sufferers (Myself included!)
Please sign this petition for every American asthma sufferer being effected by this ban!
Hi, to my family and friends... This isn't just some generic e-mail forward I got from someone. I AM writing this to you, my family and my friends... This IS a personal e-mail. This isn't a generic-who-really-cares forward. But please, send this information to your friends and to other people you know what have asthma. If you don't want to read my entire email, PLEASE sign the petition, e-mail/call your lawmakers about this, please, please, please. I'm asking you all as my family and friends. If you don't have time to read all this, I understand, if you just want to look at the petition, scroll down to the highlighted part, please.
I am completely and utterly sick of global warming... Do you want to know why, specifically? It's already beginning to infringe upon my LIFE. Maybe some of you others have noticed this or have actually gone through this, but Environmentalists (and others) are taking effective, life-saving, fast acting inhalers OFF THE SHELVES because they supposedly 'contribute to global warming' from the CFCs in them.
I'm a seasonal/allergy asthma sufferer, meaning I only use my fast-acting inhaler once or twice a month (Most my friends and family already know this), or when the air becomes very moist at night, I don't need daily drugs or therapies to control my asthma. Two nights ago, my inhaler was empty but I didn't know this, but I needed it because as SOON as that sleet-ice-snow storm started to come through (Quick and harsh atmospheric changes affect my breathing), I was wheezing and coughing. It was like clockwork. As soon as the clouds came, I was having trouble breathing. Since my rescue inhaler was empty, we tried coffee for a quick fix... It didn't work, although it has before. We had to settle for tablets, and they helped... They were the only alternative after my mom found out inhalers were on 'backorder' and 'recalled' SINCE FEBRUARY.
Do you want to know something? This isn't just a 'regular recall'. Environmentalists and the FDA have banned effective, life-saving 'so-called CFC ozone depleting inhalers'. They've given regular asthma sufferers a new, not as effective HFA inhaler... And everyone says these new inhalers are simply NOT the same.
This makes me as mad as you don't know what, because getting an inhaler at a regular Wal-Mart could have possibly saved my life about three years ago because we were in Long Island, and I'm allergic to mold spores, and sadly, homes in Long Island are rampant with mold spores because of the moisture. We were staying at a home there, but I had forgotten my inhaler... And after a while, I began to have a serious asthma attack, I was gasping for breath, and we had to rush to a Wal-Mart in time to buy a fast-acting CFC inhaler. But guess what? If that happens to me ever again, we can't buy inhalers like this anymore because of 'GLOBAL WARMING'.
Thank you, Al Gore and others, for taking my breath away. Thankfully, a company is sending me two inhalers... They have yet to arrive. But what about when these products go out of stock? What are all the asthma sufferers going to do? Global warming is already beginning to take a sinister turn. What in the world is going on here? Instead of taking away inhalers, why don't we first take those BIG JET PLANES out of the sky, and turn off the lights to Al Gores house before taking away a 17-year-old girls' little inhaler that helps her breathe?
Global warming is a MYTH/THEORY as of right now! A politically driven, skewed scientific mess of a myth! There is no evidence strong enough for global warming to take away life saving CFC inhalers. If they take away tiny little inhalers that supposedly cause GLOBAL WARMING, WHAT ELSE WILL THEY TAKE AWAY? Your house? Your car? YOU? (Oh, wait, they're already doing that with inhalers.) When are you going to sign petitions or say something? When they start monitoring YOUR CO2 EMISSIONS? And if you cause TOO MUCH, what would you do if they decide to exterminate you because of your impact on the environment? Does anyone realize what this all can lead to if we don't stop the madness now?
All of you know when you think of me, Annette, you don't think alarmist. You know I am NOT an alarmist, but this is getting me nervous and infuriated... Don't you think that says alot? This is a big deal.
Please sign the petition, call your lawmakers, just anything, please, if you have an asthma sufferer in your family or if you suffer from asthma as well... I've read time and time again the new HFA inhalers are just NOT AS EFFECTIVE! If you look at the entries in the petition, YOU WILL SEE THIS TOO. There are HUNDREDS of examples. I'm upset that I have to make sure I don't laugh too hard, run too fast or pet my cat too much in fear I'll sneeze too much and have a mild asthma attack.
This isn't a joke, it's not a rumor, I'm already seeing it happening... And so many other daily asthma sufferers are now being fed this HFA inhaler garbage this year. This global warming myth needs to stop NOW! There isn't even substantial evidence to support global warming, and they are taking away effective, life saving inhalers for asthma sufferers!
Please let others know about this. Global warming isn't going to just stop here, they're going to take more and more freedoms away if we don't say something. They're taking away the 'little things' that no one will notice right away... Global warming activists, socialist politicians, greedy no good FDA administrators are using every letter of the law to take away life saving inhalers. We need to take them back!

Listen... If you don't agree with me about global warming, it doesn't matter, but please tell others about this just because you care about me as a friend. Send this to other people you care about and love that have asthma, too. I'm not asking you to become a conservative republican and go vote for Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee to show you care about me. Do your research about this if you don't trust me. I'm asking you to help me save effective life-saving inhalers... Just by signing a simple petition. Not just for me, but for others. Who knows, this inhaler may just save the life of your friend someday.
I want to thank you for posting the link to the petition so I can sign it right away! I am also forwarding this to my friends and family and will make it known that what they are doing is WRONG! I too am an asthmatic and have suffered from it since i was 2 months old. I have nearly died countless times in my life, and have even spent a christmas in the hospital because of it. I think I might have agreed if they had at least waited until they came out with a medication that were just as effective if not more than the Albuterol that I normally receive rather than rip it out of our hands before we even know it's gone forever. It is absolutely ridiculous, an outrage even! These people don't even deserve the title of "environmentalists". I'd much rather refer to them as outcasts for being more harmful than good to our society. And in all honesty, I consider that a threat to my life and hope that I don't have to do something downright nasty to prove a point. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will do whatever it takes even if it means flipping burgers at mcdonald's before and after school 7 days a week with no sleep to save for a plane ticket to Al Gore's house where i will first gather protesters...and then...if that doesn't work..i'll go to prison for showing him how it feels to suffocate to death and let him know what he's doing to hundreds of thousands of used-to-be patriots. Yes, I do have a lot of anger pent up inside me due to this issue, and I am not afraid to show it in order to stand up for asthma sufferers. If I could give up my life to save a hundred thousand others, I would. For now I will just start by signing the petition.
I would also like to tip you and your various readers that RiteAide has made a policy to disperse a free extra inhaler for every inhalant prescription filled. I'm pretty sure it is not the new kind that don't work. So check back with your doctor right away, and if he doesn't prescribe it to you then you should change your doctor to someone who does because my mom just got a prescription for it today!
