From One Crazy Week to Another

Summers are always crazy and full around here.  The rest of the summer definitely testifies to that truth!  As all of you know, we had youth camp the week before last, then last week was just kind of a catch up week.  This week is VBS.  Thank goodness its in the evenings, gives more time with our children during the day.  Then, we leave Saturday for our mission trip to AZ.  Please pray that God would give our kiddos an extra amount of grace and rest, as it is going to be a long couple of weeks for them.  They do it every year and God has been very good and merciful.  I know that God provides the strength we need when we are working for Him, and trust that He will do no less this year.  Thanks for all your prayer and encouragement.  Hopefully, I can be back into a routine with housework, family, and blogging.

What is the best way you have found to remove ticks. I am getting conflicting answers... My mil said light a match, blow it out, then touch the ticks bottom, but the internet said don't try and burn it out, only pull it out, but my mil said that will leave the head and you will get tick fever, but the internet said it's ok if the whole tick doesn't come out, the your body will expel it. Ugh, I'm getting creeped out just thinking about it...

Sounds like you are busy! We just got finished with VBS and have swim lessons for the next two weeks and then start school the 4th of Aug..
I'm praying for contented kids and safe travel and looking forward to hearing about your trip to Arizona.
