A Quick Hello

Hello Dear Friends!

It has been SUCH A LONG TIME!  I go through these spurts where I just take a break to focus on what is important, and sometimes they are much longer than I expect!  I had a friend tell me last night that I need to blog and Twitter.....well, the twitter thing, I'm not so sure about....maybe someday I will venture there, but I seem to have a hard time keeping my focus, just with blogging! 

Our family has been doing great!  Caleb Marshall McConnell was born April 3, 2009!  He weighed 9.2 and was 21 1/2 inches long.  I will download pics soon to update everyone and tell the amazing story of his birth! 

We are now involved in a life group with several other couples in a nearby town, and are excited about learning and serving with them this upcoming year.  They ALL homeschool!  How cool is that!?  God is amazing!  We have been trying to keep the kids around other christian home school kids their age.  So this has been an answer to prayer.

Will is still the youth minister at out church as well as carrying 45-50 hours a week at work.  We all love and respect him and are so thankful for the leader and provider that he is for our family.

Sounds like you are very busy, but enjoying great fellowship and ministry! Looking forward to pictures of your kids! I love facebook personally. It's a great way to post pictures. I've never tried twitter.

I so understand your reservations about twittering. Honestly, I don't even know what twittering is. LOL!

Now that I am working f/t outside the home, I am limited in my own blogging. I do try to visit other blogs on slow days at the hospital. Thankfully, today has been one of those days, but that can change in an instant, here in ER. :-)
