I keep thinking of his family left behind. I'm in awe of Bindi. I can't imagine my 8 year old being able to do that in the same situation. May his family be comforted with the peace of God.

...and I couldn't believe little Bindi and how she was able to read that beautiful tribute to her dad. Bless her little heart. I sobbed and sobbed through the whole thing. When they drove his truck on its final journey-- it was very touching. I look at that family and can feel their pain. My dad died when he was 45...way too young. Though I wasn't a small child, I'm sure that's where some of the emotion came from--knowing that those kids will grow up without their dad and how very hard it is. What a legacy he left for them though and I'm sure they will carry on in his absence.
