Oct. 2, 2006 - Fall craft update!

If you read my fall arts and crafts entry you may have noticed that I suggested using a cheese grater or potato peeler to make crayon shavings. Well, I had a "duh" moment the other day when I saw my daughter use a sharpener on her crayon!! That is a much easier way to get crayon shavings! Sorry....my brain is not working all that well lately. I really did use a cheese grater and a potato peeler on our crayons.

Sometimes our children are our greatest teachers! I certainly hadn't thought of using a sharpener on the crayons either!
