Oct. 16, 2006 - Salt Dough Leaf Magnets

A few days ago we made these fun magnets.

The kids had a great time making the dough and cutting the shapes.

Today we painted them. Now it’s time to hot glue the magnet on the back.

Wow, how easy yet very effective looking. It's great to see links for something that young children can do as well as their older siblings and be proud of their results.
I'm also going to check out some of your Art Appreciation links from a few posts ago. Being a bit of a Charlotte Mason fan myself, I love doing Art Appreciation with the kids and always open to new resources.

love those! I think it's wonderful to create things you can USE! I cannot tell you how many drawings I have or rocks that my kids want to save and list of clutter grows....Lol!
