This morning my daughter informed me that when she grows up and has children she wants to homeschool them!

“How wonderful!” I said, “I hope you will”.

Then I decided to add, “You will have to look for a Christian husband who wants to homeschool too”

She replied, “I’ll ask him, ‘Do you want to homeschool the kids?’. If he says ‘No’, then I’ll look for someone else”

What a girl!!!

that is funny! and i think you're right on track. teach them while they're young to look for excellent character traits which will need to be present in 'the perfect type of spouse'

One thing that I am trying hard to teach my older kids is how to homeschool, recordkeeping, and how to have fun with it. I absolutely want to see my grandchildren homeschooled. Your daughter seems to have it figured out.

It is wonderful whenit happens. My daughter started her list about the qualities of her husband at nine years old.So her sweet words today will become her prayers tomorrow. They grow up so quickly.(sigh)
