Jan. 8, 2008 - Wordless Wednesday

This one is not wordless, I need to explain.....

My six year old daughter drew this picture.  I am the mean looking one!  She said I was telling her, "Eat your egg!"

Before you think I am a real meanie, here is another where I look happy:

Hello there!

It was good to read your comment. I always smile when you visit!

I enjoyed reading your post about making our home a haven. I would love to do that, too, but I am clutter-challenged. Mostly paper clutter - I always hesitate to throw away, shred or burn printed matter. But my plan is to work on that this year - seriously! I also need to help my kids with decluttering their rooms. I really do want a "haven" for us all to enjoy.

Thanks for the encouragement. Have a good weekend!

Hey! I have been gone so long, but glad I came back soon enough to see these cute drawings! Your dd is really advancing with her drawings! I want to know what is in the kids' hands in the first picture or is that their hands waving. Just curious. I think you have a great resemblance to me in the first picture! ;)

Lately I have had to be the mean mom and make my youngest drink her one glass of milk per day, chocolate too! Isn't it terrible that I have to promise punishment if she doesn't! We have even tried lactose free milk and soy brands. She doesn't want any of it!

Anyway, glad to see you are all doing well! In Christ, Eva
