I also tried some Green Tea lotion. This one was a little more time consuming. It turned out great! I really liked it. Unfortunately, I should have stored it in the refrigerator. Because it does not have preservatives, it doesn’t keep very well. Oh well, live and learn! Click

Homemade lip balm is also quite simple and fairly quick. Click
here to see the recipe we used. Your friends will be so impressed when you give them a tube of homemade lip balm! (I buy the lip balm containers from
Mountain Rose Herbs - look under bulk ingredients).
Another easy one is non-petroleum jelly. Click

The fun about most of these recipes is that the kids have been able to help. I am excited for them to learn how to make these things. It is good for them to know that they can do it if they want to.
What products have you made (or would like to make) at home?

P.S. I buy most of my ingredients from
Mountain Rose Herbs. Their prices are reasonable and service is great. I highly recommend them!
