I can never get used to saying bangs. It just seems strange!
Anyway...today I cut my own. I cut side swept bangs as described in the video below. It was not hard at all! I cut them a little shorter than shown in the video. I am so happy it worked for me! Now I don't have to go to the hairdresser - who is non-existent. I haven't found a really good one in a long time. I'm a little jealous that my sister gets to go to my old hairdresser in Australia..who is excellent!
I usually cut my own bangs and have Mama cut my ends. But my hairdresser just moved in with us! :) My hairdresser is my grandma so I get to live with her! yay! She just gave me a cut the other nite!
She is also going to teach me to cut hair! I am really excited about that. I think it would be fun to have my own salon! who knows! :)

I cut my own hair but not great. I cut the boys' hair & they look fine. The 3yo gets choppy because his head keeps moving LOL, but the older boys look good. It took some practice; my oldest had some bad haircuts as a little one LOL.
I love this video! I am going to try it. I've been wanting my bangs cut, but have to drive forever to get to my hairdresser, plus I want to save my $$$.
