"You give him a sword and he makes a knife!"

Thursday 18 December 2008 - If you mix a cat and a dog you get...something dreadfully horrible that could take over the world

"My Angel! Come into my arms!" In response to this tender invitation Baillot sprang suddenly forward, seized the stripling about the waist and forced him down upon the floor, smothering his fighten cries with the pillow. (From the book Prisoners of the Sea)
Well, I was inspired today, for a little while, then I hit a brick wall and have been sulking because I can, being I am an author. Anyhow, about my inspiration. I was inspired watching this video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0ZVeY5RLFw
I can see you are wondering why...well maybe you are, I mean, Aragorn is kissing through the WHOLE thing...:P and he ain't kissing the horse :(. But, I was inspired, by his sword :D. I was ranting about it today, mostly because I am going crazy with this plot that reuses to work, so I was bugging everyone and ever so often would bring up the sword. But really, isn't it cool?
Well, other then the sword, I have been stuck and uninspired and want to scream...but everyone already thinks I have cracked. But other then that I am fine and happy, everyone is behaving, I am threatening to replace Jefferson, he is asking for it.
Oh yes, and Baillot, the coolest hero that ever lived. I was randomly reading the book to Willi today. I read him the part above, when Baillot ties up Roderick. I know you have no idea what I am talking about...:D. I shall have to tell you about it eh?
Well, the book is about the coolest, bravest guy that ever lived, he was even the most romantic but hey, what can you do.
Baillot is a rich French Nobleman who becomes a Christian and so is banished from his home. His father was stern and everything. Well Baillot sails to America, but on the way there they run into a storm and the ship goes down. Only five live, Baillot, a Hugenot woman, her daughter Madeline, an English sailor Winters, and a black cook, Cato.
Anyhow so they were in their boat and see this yacht floating about and so they board it as their boat is sinking and sail to this island. This yacht is really fancy and on the island they find a castle and realize the yacht had been on the island before someone cut the rope.
So they are on this island, and while there some English men sneak in and kidnap Baillot and take him to England thinking he is someone else. He escapes, with the help of a love stuck boy, Roderick, and joins up with these pirates. He takes over the ship after he clobbers a couple and they sail to an island to get a map so they can get back to the one the others are on.
While there Baillot becomes sick and the pirates leave him and his faithful friend and expirate, behind. Anyhow they enlist the help of this fat man and once Baillot is better sail to the island to find everyone is gone but this mad man.
They winter on the island, the fat man goes insane over gold, then the pirate and Baillot get in the yacht and sail to America where Baillot is united with his true love. There is more to the story then this but no one would believe it and would say he is a lair and poor Baillot went through enough already :D. Actually I am just too tired to write the rest, it is another story in itself, maybe later.
But that is who Baillot is and he bypassed Ben in my favoritest heros that ever lived. There is just something about a man who would do all that for the girl he loves, not to mention the guy takes on pirates and fights sea battles and tackles love struck boys and cheers love struck girls, and everything. And he was so sweet, though he did loose his temper sometimes, then he was rather funny.
Well, that is all, I should be writing.
 I am off!

Poor sister, no inspiration...I know it well. The Advent kids drove me mad for alll of December until the other day, when I realized God was not the center of the stories, they were. *gulps* Thanks be to Him, He has helped me to turn my writing around. The kids (some of them) are raging mad about it, but I have gotten more of a hold upon them. Granted, they will always run around leaving wild as the winds, but Saffron is helping to rally the Peacekeepers to protect me from their flashing daggers.
I suppose you're happy to have Maddock off your hands for a few days, so Laura can fix your ransom and get you out of the Dungeon? Are the Rodents being nasty? Don't worry, we can tell them to shoo. Please forgive the fact that R.K. left a comment on yer blog; Oi got SO mad at him, Oi babbled at him in Pippernack (mah accent, dis basically) and then slapped him numerous times.
I am worried about you. I haven't heard anything, an' yer phone wus off when Oi tried ta call you. If I ahve done anything, dear sister, please tell me. I have been fighting spiritual battles, SAEs and nasty kids lately, but I'm on the updraft. Naturally I understand what with Christmas upon us, yer busy. But if I am the cause of your seeming ignoring of me, please tell it to me straight. Forgive my pushiness, I jist git jumpy.
God bless and Merry CHRISTmas!
