365 Days of Photos ~ Mountain View & Overload
Posted in Photo of the Day
The weather has been very unpredictable around here the last couple of days going from warm sunshine to rain and hail. Saturday is supposed to be an awesome day of full sunshine so I'm hoping the weather man keeps his promise *grin*
I've been a little scarce around the bloggy world for the last 3 or 4 days and I'm hoping that maybe on the weekend I'll be able to catch up with some of you :) I'm finding it difficult to find an even balance between my family (especially with Dh home), blogs and community commitments that have found their way into my lap. During the day I spend most of my time with the kids either doing some sort of learning project or just doing stuff together and I pop on and off of the internet looking for things or checking my mail and then usually in the evening after the kids have gone to bed I'm free to read blogs for a couple of hours if I have time :) But with Dh home I want to spend my evening time with him so I find I'm rushing to get my photo on or answer a couple of emails before spending my evening with him and still trying to squeeze in the website work and membership updating I'm doing for the local business association and trying to find volunteers for the Canadian Cancer campaign for our area since last years volunteers have opted out and I'm scrambling for new ones, along with the work I've promised to do for my mom on her business site :( I'm burning the candle at both ends and it's going to burn me, I just know it!
Okay enough stuff about my chaotic life. I know there's a good verse or 2 or 3 that I should find to read but I'm at a complete loss as to where to find them. They're floating half jumbled in my bungled brain *grin* Maybe you can point me in the right direction? I would appreciate it :) Things will calm down at the end of the month and then I've got some serious prioritizing for the future to smooth things out :)
Blessings,

Be still and know that I am God...
That verse is my favorite. It always help calm me when things are so busy in my life I can't seem to think. Hope it helps . Beautiful photo by the way. It reminds me of our Smoky Mountains here in Tn.

Real life does so get in the way sometimes, eh? =D
Seriously, I love reading your posts but family is way more important! I've gotten to where I usually only post twice a week... I allow myself some early morning time and that flys by.
And time with hubby is best! =D

Well my dh leaves for 2 1/2 weeks soon, so I may be blogging more. I have been so busy lately I haven't been blogging much either.

Be Still and Know That I am God..
And be still, knowing that you've got your priorities straight.. hubby and the kids are FIRST (well, second after God..) and then people and events in your community (service) and then things we do for pleasure, like visit other blogs.
You've got it all in the right order Rosina - don't fret one bit!

I understand about finding time for everything! My blog has taken a backseat lately too. I think part of it is our(female) need for communication during the day and somehow the computer allows us to do that, whether through a forum or a blog, but it can also be a time waster!
Having said that, I should probably go...I guess I'm feeling a little convicted! LOL!

I'll be praying for you while you navigate the next weeks. I hope God will meet you in everything you do, and see you through it smoothly and easily. :')

Mathew 11:28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
I hope you are getting some rest. You are missed, but there is a time to blog and there is a time to take care of real life.

...how busy our lives get doesn't it! I am glad to hear you had some vacation time with your family. I hope you all had a wonderful time.
A couple of verses that I just love to read when I feel like life is getting too much are these: "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." - Matt. 11:28-30
I pray that you are able to find the rest you need during your busy days!
