Well Baby Bear loves to watch Barney the other day I got a really cute picture of her watching it on my phone, but I don't know how to get it off my phone to the computer. A few days later I was able to catch her again. This is one of her favorite ways to sit and drink her bottle or even watch Barney.....

Take note of the high heel shoe on one foot!! She loves those shoes but will not wear them both at the same time, so I took one to her God Parents House, which she is at daily.
No he did not use the burner closest to her. This was the first time he ever let her stand up on the stool. So we have now moved the stool out of reach of the stove all together. But she sure does have fun standing there helping.
Baby Bear has all of a sudden shown a dislike for baths. We are not why so we have been trying everything. Even bathing in the kitchen sink.
Well my wonderful daughter found a magic slipper this weekend.
It has become one of her favorite things to do the whole weekend.
She can only wear one shoe at a time.
From Cinderella to Sleeping Beauty
This was the first time she has fallen asleep while eating. But you notice she is not letting go of that corn cob. No she did not eat the corn off the cob. She likes to suck on the cob after I have eaten the corn. One of these days I will let her try just not ready for that yet.
Well I have been writing about preg. lately that I have not posted any cute pictures. So here are some cute ones.
We were out and Uncle K. was sharing his carrot cake w/ Baby Bear. It turned into her taking over the carrot cake.
Here Baby Bear had helped herself to a box of teddy grahams. She took them all from the kitchen shelf to the little recliner, then she sat on them to hide them.
It is official, Baby Bear has her first fever 102.5. She had a low grade fever 100.2 on Monday, I figured it was teething. I hope that this is not the begining of something bigger.
Baby Bears eyes look so sad. She looks so sad. I hate to see my baby like this.
Baby Bear was in a car accident today. She is fine, not a scratch on her. She slept through the whole thing. Baby Bear was out for an afternoon drive w/ her God Father, he was trying to get her to fall asleep. She fell asleep and he was on his way back. He was about 4 to 6 streets away from our house and his house. (we live 2 streets away from each other, walking distance) He stopped at a stop sign and when he started to go through another car came through the intersection. The other car was a 78 year old woman. No one was injured but my car is very messed up.
Uncle K, said that when the EMT checked Baby Bear out she slept through it all. The EMT lifted her arms, listened to her heart and even opened up her eyes. She just slept. She did not wake until I took her out of her car seat when we needed to move her from one car to the other. The policeman even said that he was surprised at how calm she was.
We went afterward to get a new car seat. We will be taking the other one to the police station so they can dispose of it. If you did not know this, no matter how miner the accident you should NEVER keep a car seat. If you think about how it feels to have your seat belt jerked against you that is how the plastic is jerked. Yes that plastic is there to keep your child safe. But it will also begin to break down. Just take a piece of plastic and bend it, see how the plastic will start to change color where the weakness is. That is how the car seat is to. You can't just put the car seat to the curb either. You need to have it disposed of correctly. The police station can help you w/ that. (Also if you are not aware, your car seat has an expiration date on it to, again the plastic will begin to break down after a certain amount of years.)
OK it has been a long day here. Here are some pics of the care. God is so Good to protect his children, both Baby Bear and Uncle K.
Baby Bear got a new baby or should I say Babies for her birthday, from a dear friend Ms. D. Baby Bear just loves it. It is one of those dolls that you turn upside down and you have another doll underneath. Ms. D. made it for her. Thanks Ms. D. Baby Bear loves her doll.
Last Friday we went for a 1 year check up for Baby Bear. She weighs 22.9lb. and is 29in tall. WOW what a big girl, she is.
She again did such a good job getting her shots. She let out one wail for each shot then stopped. The only bad thing is she seems to have had a reaction to one of those shots. She has a swollen arm/shoulder and we are on a 48hour rounds of motrin and bynadril every 6 hours. We will call the dr. tomorrow, Thursday for a follow up. As of tonight, her shoulder is still swollen and has a knot the size of a quarter on it.
Another thing I notice is she seemed to stop eating and only want to nurse or drink from a bottle. She finally started to eat tonight, yeah! She ate her dinner and half of her Daddies dinner too.
Hubby gave her a little flash light tonight, she thought that is the best thing around. She was having a ball w/ it in our dark hallway. To funny.
Oh and did I mention she has started a new form of communication. Not a form I am enjoying. She is screaming at me when she does not get her way. I am in the process of stopping this, it is harder then you would imagine.

Now for Outdoor Fun.... She is walking fast fast fast from Mommy.
Did you know that when you swing your arms you can walk faster. Of course that is from Baby Bears point of few. It is just to cute to see her get so excited she wants to walk faster and ends up swinging her arms to make it happen.
Oh is she keeping me busy. She is into everything. If the dishwasher is open she will help me unload the plates. Of course she will do this even if I am not ready to unload it, and put all the plates on the floor.
She thinks the dog water is the perfect place to clean her binki, yuck.
She will walk right out the front door if someone walks through and does not push the screen shut.
At work if I put the baby gate up at my office door way she will cry the moment she sees it. Even if she is down the hall and has not intention of coming down to see me.
She supervises my bosses sons when they are working on their computer or playing games. She keeps them in check, and tells them as loud as she can.
She does not want eat baby food anymore, except the breakfast stuff like fruit and cereal mixed w/ fruit. Instead she loves cherrio's, french cut greanbeans, diced peaches, whole wheat pancakes, bananas, fruit bars, roman noodles (no season just a little butter) cheese puffs and so much more. YEAH we are almost done w/ baby food. YIPEE !
Baby Bear is teething again. She has 2 lower teeth and in the last two painful days she has broken through her first top tooth.
She did not really have issues w/ the first 2 teeth, she just drooled a lot, but this top tooth has been very painful. We have had major crying and loosing it. I noticed with this tooth a bloody show about 2 or 3 hours before I saw the actual tooth come threw.
I can't imagine how this feels. Pour thing.....
On a different note Baby Bear is on the move. She is officially walking. After her first steps on Christmas Eve. She has taken off. She is walking more then crawling. Now if I could get her to walk in shoes.
Baby Bear got her birthstone earrings from her Daddy for Christmas and a pretty purple dress from Uncle K and Aunt C. Here she playing w/ the spatula last Sunday night.

Baby Bear is learning how to walk. She has been cruising everything for about 2 months. On Christmas Eve she took 6 steps. Then she refused to take anymore until yesterday. She took 4 more when she thought no one was looking. But Aunt C. saw it. It just made her day.
Baby Bear will stand there and clap, swing her arms and clap some more. She is so proud of herself.
Tonight her and I sat on the floor tonight, she was playing and the next thing i know she was walking up on my side when I was watching TV. Boy was I suprised. She thought it was really funny and laughed and clapped and swang her arms.
I then would place her back a step or two and hold a toy in front of her she would walk to it. Clapping and laughing the whole time.
I got a new camera for Christmas that has video on it. I will see if I can catch this cuteness of this.
Baby Bear has a cute pink bear blanket that she just loves. It has been become her security. So I have looked every where for a pink bear blanket Christmas ornament for Baby Bear to represent her for this year. Well my dear friend Ms. D. made her one.
Baby Bear had her 9 month check up today. She was such a big girl, she had her finger pricked to test her iron count and her 9 month shot.
She did NOT cry, make a sound, wimper, move NOTHING!!!
She just sat there and watched her finger then the dr, her finger then the dr and so on.
Then when he went to do a shot she did the same thing, looked at her leg then him, her leg, then him, her leg then him.
She did give him a look of "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME" but that was it.!!!!!
She weighed in at 19lb 13oz and 27inch long. She gained 2lb 3oz and grew 1inch in 3 months.
To keep my babies in prespective, Biggun was 20lbs at 4 months, thus his nickname Biggun. I am enjoying Baby Bear being just right!
The dr. asked if she is crawling yet, I said "OH is she crawling, yes she is crawling, cruising funiture and walls along with standing on her own. I expect her to walk before she is 10months." We can't slow her down these days.
Baby Bear is chatting up a storm in the living room w/ the other kids in our life. As all her shots she will be grumpy at bed time tonight but that should be it. God has been very good to us. Biggun would get a fever every time he had shots.
I am almost done w/ the dress I am making w/ my new sewing machine. I will post pictures of them when I get it done.

Baby Bear is spoiled rotten by her God Mother Aunt C. A few weeks ago someone Called Aunt C. Grandma to Baby Bear. Aunt C and I just smiled at each other and let it go. I feel that is an honor to mistaken for Grandma. Aunt C. is a dear friend, I hope she took it as a compliment too.
I missed so many first w/ Biggun due to him being in a home daycare. I am really enjoying seeing all the first w/ Baby Bear. This was the first time she pulled her self up in her crib. My hubby caught it on his phone video camera. He somehow figured out how to put it on his screen saver. So when he opens his phone he sees Baby Bear standing smiling at him in her crib.
Now the title has gotten your attention. I have been blessed by a dear friend. Mrs. D. , same friend who made me some Bumble Bee pot holder dishtowel set. She has been spoiling me by sewing items for Baby Bear. I asked her if she would make Baby Bear a grocery cart cover. She said YES. We found a pattern and she sent me on my way to the store to get the material. I passed off the material and w/ in days she finished this wonderful Cootie Catcher!
I got the Cootie Cathcer, grocery cart cover yesterday and just had to go to a store to try it out today!
Mrs. D even added a neat little squeeker toy that Baby Bear just loved chewing on to make squeek. She looks so comfertable!
Biggun had to get in on this shot. He complained it was to bright. But if you look at all the pictures you can tell it is sunny out. They are both squinting in all the pictures.

When Baby Bear sees a camera or flash comes out she puts her smile on. She has learned that from our dear friend Ms. S. Who is always willing to smile at the camera!

Beep Beep Beep!
See the orange handle on the right of the picture when you pull or push on that it makes a wonderful Beep, Beep, Beep noise. I hear it all day long, I can hear it in my sleep!
Ok had a small disagreement w/ hubby and can not sleep so I am up at 1:30am blogging to get this off my chest.
Up until now Baby Bear has worn onsie dresses. She is still in them but is outgrowing them very fast. Hubby is not 100% in love with the onsie dress but says it will have to do for now while she is still an infant.
The K-Marts in our area are having some great sales. 50% off the already Clearance Price!!!
Baby Bear's God Mother, Aunt C. went with me to K-Mart and we saw all kinds of outfitts that my hubby would just go crazy if I purchased. Halter top short sets, thin strap short sets, mini skirts, and more.
Aunt C and I did find a few nice short outfits and skirt outfits. Close to $50.00 worth of clothes for about $20.00. What a great deal, right!
When my hubby saw all of the shorts and skirts he got upset and said I needed to take them back. He complained that there is only about 1 to 1 1/2 inch of material from the crotch to the bottom of the leg portion of the short. The skirt he is assuming is to short.
Now all the clothes we purchased are 12-24 months. (a few 2T's) so Baby Bear will be walking when she wears these outfits. Hubby does not think they are long enough. He says they need to go to her knees if they are shorts and to her mid calf/ankle if they are skirts/dresses.
After hearing my hubby out. His main thing is to start Baby Bear NOW dressing correctly and not all short-short. Don't let her get used to short-short stuff. Let her feel that long is the way to go. I do agree with my hubby and will most likely take the clothes back. Even though they are really cute and I personally do not think they will be to short. But I am trying to be a good wife. A submissive wife-which anyone who knows me, knows it takes a lot for me to give in to that submissive word. God works on me everyday with that one. :o)
But here is my problem. Where do I get clothes that fit Baby Bear the way my hubby wants? The only outfit my hubby liked was a jean pants set I got. Where do I get clothes like what he wants. I need them to be cool clothes too. We are in Florida w/ 90 degree weather that feels like 100 degree.
My sister in law sent Baby Bear 3 amish girl dresses. They are really cute but made of HOT material (amish live in Pa, where it is cooler) My hubby really likes the length on the dresses and the neck line. We can't wear the amish dresses because it is to HOT here. I will have to get a picture of her in one and show them to you. They are supposed to be 18month dresses but they fit now.
He has asked that I not buy buying dresses or shirt for Baby Bear that are sleevless.
My hubby will read this post tomorrow or the next day and that is ok. I am not sharing this to bash my hubbies views. I agree with his views I just have to remember them when I see a really cute outfit. I have to stop and think of what the standards that my hubby wants to set. I am hoping that in sharing this with my friends I might get some ideas on clothes.
BTW I don't own a sewing machine so I can't make clothes. I would love to get a sewing machine but I just can NOT afford to buy one right now. Maybe I will ask for one for Christmas. But in the mean time what am I to do Baby Bear is outgrowing clothing daily!?
We have started to feed Baby Bear baby food. We had to go on a trip last weekend to Ga. LONG trip from Central Fl to Central Ga and back in one weekend. We took carrots w/ us to feed Baby Bear Saturday night. While we were there our family took us out to dinner so and Baby Bear sat in her car seat at the end of the table. I fed her carrots. After a few bits she started sticking her toes in her mouth in between bites. MMMmmmmm Savor the Flavor! It was sooo cute.
Baby Bear LOVES her toes!! If she will go excited when you take socks off her feet. She will look at her toes as though to say "There you are good friends, I thought I had lost you." Toes taste so good at this age too.
Baby Bear had cereal for the first time. She made all kinds of faces as she ate. But she ate it. We waited a few days before we gave her more. She is getting cereal about every couple days. She seems happy with that. We will be starting veggies soon. Got to love this picture of her face at the end of her first feeding.
Baby Bear has been sucking her thumb more and more. We try to get her to use the binky but I think it is a never ending battle. This was right after a diaper change.
Just caught Baby Bear sleeping w/ her finger in her mouth. Now during the day she will suck her right thumb and chew on her two fingers on her left hand. Note the binky in both pictures!!!!
VBS this week is all about sports and hero's. We were told to dress in sport outfits. We found a Florida Gator out fit that was Bigguns when he was little. Baby Bear wore it tonight. She looks so cute in her Blue and Orange! GO GATORS!!!!
Biggun helped Mom today by playing w/ Baby Bear while we were at work. It got real quiet after a little while and when I went in to check on them Baby Bear had fallen asleep on Bigguns chest. He was so proud of himself. They sat like this for almost an hour.
Baby Bear started sucking her fingers today. She does not care which hand she has to use she just spent the day sucking her fingers. Every time I put the binki in she spit it out and sucked her fingers. If you look close at her ear/shoulder you will see a white/pink thing that is her binki!!!! What a stinker!
We had baby dedications today at church. This is extra special because it is Mother's Day and my birthday. Here are some pictures of us.....

I know that in the Baptist belief there are no God Parents, (like in the Catholic belief) but we have asked our good friends K&C to be our childrens God Parents. To help us to bring them up in the christian belief. So this is a picture of Biggun and Baby Bear with their God Parents.
This is a baby doll Gamma got for Baby Bear. She made the dress. The dress matches Baby Bears bedroom theme. The dress was made out of scraps from the crib skirt. Gamma chose this doll because it looked like me when I was little. So I decided to take a picture of the two of them together in the bed. Look a Baby Bears face. She is looking at this doll as though to say. "What are you doing in my bed?" What a funny picture.
We have one of these floor play things. It has a star that lights up on all the points. We have it hooked up in the middle and we lay her down on the on it we lay her at an angle so ther her feet hit the pole part. This causes the star to light up. It is 10:30pm and she has been laying down there since 9:30pm babbling and kicking like crazy. It is a wonderful thing. She is soooo funny, She will kick and then sorta laugh at it. It is priceless.
Big girl moved to her new car seat. Enjoying on of her new toys while helping Mommy drive.
