Dec. 13, 2007 - Complaint Free World :-(

I was doing so good.  I had made it to 4 days.  NO complaining for 4 days. Scouts is where I thought for sure I woul d complain, due to we have a lot of unorgainzed acts that go on at scouts.  We all try hard but for some reason we can't seem to get ourselves orgainized.  The boys don't seem to mind it just drives me crazy.  BUT I made it all the way through scouts w/o a complaint until it was time to leave.

I check the bathroom and find toilet paper all over the place.  I lost it.    The boys no better and I had even sent a boy into the bathrooms to check them. All he did was make sure the toilet was flushed and the light was out.  But walked right over the toilet paper on the floor.

So I am back to day one.

Dec. 12, 2007 - Complaint Free World - 3 Days!!!

I have made it 3 days!!!! No complaining for 3 whole days. My hubby is impressed.  I am praying that God will help me to continue.  My hubby has not done so well, but he is moving his bracelet when he is driving.  He complains about the traffic and drivers.  This will be a hard one to stop since he is a truck driver and is on the road a lot.

W/ God's help we will be able to continue.

Dec. 7, 2007 - Complaint Free World

Complaint Free World Challange

Begin to wear the bracelet, on either wrist.

1.When you catch yourself complaining, gossiping or criticizing (it’s ok, everyone does) move the bracelet to the other arm and begin again.

2.If you hear someone else who is wearing a bracelet complain, you may point out their need to switch the bracelet to the other arm; BUT if you’re going to do this, you must move your bracelet first!

Stay with it. It may take many months but when you reach 21 days you will find that your entire life is happier, more loving and more enjoyable.

I have switched my bracelet at least 10 times in 24hours.  This is not easy.  I am making smaller goals for myself.  Instead of 21 days.  Here are my starter goals.

Goal 1 = 1 Day
Goal 2 = 3 Days
Goal 3 = 7 Days
Goal 4 = 14 Days
Goal 5 = 21 Days

This is harder then it sounds.  I challenge all you who read my blog to try it.  Let me know how you do.

(Oh and this can be educational - character training, too.  Biggun is all into this.  He wants to try to.  I did state to him that I will not follow the rule 2. when it comes to him.  He is only 8 and needs a little help in the department of realizing he is complaining. )
