Dawn's Day-2-Day

Just call me RN :o)

YEAH BABY!!! I passed the state boards and I am officially a REGISTERED NURSE.  I am so glad that is over.  Now, we can start focusing on our decision to have DH stay home (and go to college) and bring the kids home to homeschool (oh yea, and for me to go to work...heehee).  Everywhere we go, I see things that we could be teaching the kids...like today (and yesterday) we went to the beach. I look around and see the wonders of the world and I just get all excited about teaching the kids at home.  We have been spending more and more time alone with the kids.  It's been GREAT!  I see them act completely different, when we spend a little time focusing them.  They're great kids...Life is about to change for us in great ways.  I can't wait!

Jan. 14, 2007 - So Excited For You!

Posted by relationalhomeschool
Hi there! I don't know you, and I'm sure you don't know me. I just joined Homeschool Blogger at the end of December. I have hardly posted so far, don't have friends to speak of, and really don't know what I'm doing--computer-wise. However, we began homeschooling twenty-three years ago when I was twenty years old and brought my junior high sister home from school to homeschool her for a year. We've been at it ever since. And I just happened upon your post while checking things out--and I am so excited for you. The excitement you feel at having your kids at home, changing your lifestyle, spending time with your kids, limiting their outside influences, growing with them---oh, I'm just beside myself with excitement as it is truly the most incredible way to live. I can't imagine any other life. Anyway, I was so excited when I read your excited post, that I had to tell you so! Now, that's a lot of excitement there! :)

Sincerely,
The Relational Homeschooler
for nearly twenty-three years....
