I just wanted to wish everyone that stopped by a very, Happy Thanksgiving!!! We truly have so much to be thankful for, don't we? Here are some things I am thankful for:
My husband is actually flying to Antarctica today from New Zealand, so we are praying that they stay safe. We sure wish he was here today, but I am very thankful that he'll be home in time for Christmas!!!
The kids and I are going to spend today at my parents with my brother and sister-in-law. It should be a nice, quiet day. I am very thankful for family.
Ana has come down with something and was up coughing all night! Her poor little nose is very runny and red, and she is still coughing. I am just thankful that it isn't worse.
I have been cooking all morning after not having much sleep last night...I could so lay down and take a nap right now!! But...I am so thankful that I have abundant food to make for my family, and a beautiful kitchen to cook it in.
Even though it's Thanksgiving, I have laundry to do and the house needs cleaning (an everyday thing!), but very thankful that I even have clothes to wash and a house to clean.
I've already cleaned up our living room three times after Ana, but I am so very thankful for our little Ana, I will gladly clean up after her many more times!
I lost my grandfather last week, and I'm sad to know that I can't see him here on earth again. But I am so thankful that I had forty years to know him, and that my children knew him as well.
I have so many things I am thankful for today, and every day. But I am most thankful for the fact that I have a Savior that paid the price for my sin, and because of that, I will spend eternity with my Father in heaven.
I am thankful that we live in a country that I am even aloud to say what I did in the paragraph above.
Happy Thanksgiving to you today! Please take a few moment today to reflect on all that you have to be thankful for!!
"Oh Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever."
