Today the insurance agent was coming by to audit a damage claim we filed during a severe windstorm in early January. I knew someone was going to see me, so I wore my "formal sweats." When I mentioned to my mom that I was wearing them, she laughed like crazy. She thinks I'm the only person on earth to have "formal sweats." By the way, the insurance auditor found out we had been paid an incorrect amount-- and cut us a check for nearly $500, right on the spot! We've had some pretty rough times financially recently, and I expect we're going to have some more coming up, so it was pretty nice to get a break! |
