Dec. 3, 2005 - BLOGGER'S BLOCK!!
I don't know why, but I seem to have a bad case of "Blogger's Block". I haven't written anything since just before Thanksgiving. It doesn't help that several of the children have been sick since then either. But I just can't come up with anythng to write about. It seems our days are so boring and I don't have any ideas.
If you visit here regularly, what makes you keep coming back? What do you like to read about? I know that when I go to someone else's blog I like to read about what they have planned for the day, their "to-do" list, etc. , but when I write about us, it seems so blah to me.
Do you like blogs with recipes? photos? How about some ideas?
~~Anne

Sometimes I'll visit random blogs for a bit. Frequently they'll spark an idea in me that's worthy of blogging about. Hang in there - pretty soon you'll be suffering bloggers bonanza rather than bloggers block!

It's a nice mix of thoughts, ideas, recipes, and terrific photos. I like the variety. I think everyone feels "stuck" sometimes. :-)

Anne, if you try the biscotti please leave me a note how you liked it, ok?
and to your blogger's block...just ask yourslef...Why do I blog? For me the answer is so my children will know me better and to encourage other homeschool moms. Your answer may be different. I know someone just wrote agreat blog about that very topic but I'm sorry I can't recall who it was. If I find it I will come tell you!

I think the reason I read and write blogs is to find friendship, encouragement, spiritual growth, and to hopefully encourage someone else. I think we can learn from one another through the simple things.....our daily lives and what God is teaching us. Don't worry about boring me with the details of your life......I don't blog in order to create a masterpiece...it's just me sharing my life. Love, Jeani
Dec. 6, 2005 - Why we read blogs....

I know for me, there are certain blogs I visit b/c I know I will laugh and I may need a good one that day, others for the encouragement that I glean from them. Mostly though, I like to see how other ordinary homeschool moms like me live ~ I am not sure if it is just in my area or what, but most of the h/s moms in my area, never seem "real" ~ you just never hear about the bad days, pj days, times they eat cereal for supper, yell at their kids, or throw up their hands and say " I quit" in frustration. That is what blogging is to me....a chance to see other Moms have "those days" along with me. Keep blogging about what is on your heart ~ you never know when that one person out there needs to hear what you say.

Hi ANne. I get that way sometimes. Recently, I have not WANTED to write. I like your blog because it is cozy and homy. Is that a word? Anyway, try hitting the random button, sometimes that sparks an interest for me to search for soemthing, and then I write about it. Also, a writing activitiy I like, although I haven't tried it on my blog, is to write for 15 min with no goal in mind. I just write whatever is in my head. The jibberish that comes out of the old noggin is grewat stuff! Try it. =) Leslie <><

I am suffering from Blogger's Block too and I just can't think of anything interesting... I think that I must live a boring life!
I understand about illness, I have been sick forever and can't seem to shake whatever this is!
Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers!

Your blog is decorated in such a lovely way! It appeals to my sense of serenity!
Blogging, technically a form of writing, is not something I think that people can do without some kind of inspiration.
Let the Spirit lead you as to when and what to blog about.
What I've read on your blog has been insightful and full of truth. I've enjoyed reading what you are sharing.
