Shopping day.

Dd 12 and I are going grocery shopping today. At first I wasn't going to take her but I think we need sometime together and incourage her to take more interest in kitchen duties. She does some baking and cooking but I want her to have a passion for it. A value that is lacking in young girls today. I pray God will bless her the duties that it takes to be a good wife. Other then that I want to spend time with just us. Ds 11 & I made some menus up yesterday. Hopefully we can think of more for the following week. I figured if I keep the basic stuff in the pantry we should be able to throw a meal together. I have to be prepared. I will be helping dh in the shop more so I need to have things planned. Along w/school on Tues./Thurs. in the a.m. I want to be on top of things. We just decided that instead of hiring someone right now I will just bite the bullet and do the job. Yes I know what I am doing out there but I really don't like it. It isn't my dream job. But I enjoy my time w/dh and I want to help him. I do like our little dances out there though. I asked God to bless us with work and he is providing it. We did have a small break this week to get caught up on some house maintance. The biggest project right now is shelving in the 3 closets. Some tough ups downstairs other then that we are giving home improvments a rest for now. We are concerating on paying off the credit cards, building an outside shed before winter, and maybe some landscaping. I think that is enough for this year. We want to take some trips w/kids too so we don't want to get too busy with stuff. Every one have a blessed day!!!! |
