The Mission… Sort last seasons clothes (Or clothes from several seasons because I didn’t know what to do with them earlier.)

     I keep telling myself, I’m a reasonably intelligent person… I should be able to do this.  But, I continue to stare at the baskets of off season, and outgrown, and worn, and stained, and maybe will fit next season, and maybe I should give away… and then I just get overwhelmed and walk away in a daze.

     Last year, in moment of clarity, I got an idea.  Bins!  I know, I’ll use bins!  Then, I’ll label them with tape on the side with things like 2T, 4T, 8 - 10, 12 -14… things like that! What a brainstorm.  I tell you, where do I come up with this stuff.

that is funny! i try to sort the winter/summer clothes and it works ok. i am very sloppy about it... i just throw it the entire families winter clothes into a big box and label it "winter' and then stick it someplace where it will fit. easy as pie. then i just dump it out when it's needed and make the kids claim their stuff and put it away nice and neat.

I am needing to sort this weekend, too. A little thing that I found helpful with the bins is to use one color for the boys and one color for the girls, and one color for mom and dad. It sure makes it easier when they pile up...But, then, again, I have six children (he,he..Boy do I need those color coded bins).
