Mar. 13, 2007 - My life is getting very complicated( at ballet at least)
Hey Ya'll!
Sooo... sorry i haven't posted in a while. I got back from my VA trip a few days ago. It was so much fun! I got to spend lots of time with friends AND dance AND go shopping! Guys are you ready for this? I took African Dance!!! Me, the bunhead(for non-dancers this means I really only do ballet in ballet language. Actually I take modern and Jazz as well but anyway...) took African! It was soooo much fun actually! I also got to take modern partnering, pilates, theatre dance, jazz, and of course BALLET!
And now the not so much fun and rather stressful part of my life. So last year my ballet school got a new director as well as a few new teachers. Everything was going fine until the younger girls started talking about the upper level(which I am a part of). I have come to find that the teacher they have all the time(a new teacher) was telling them all this stuff about how bad all the other teachers were and how they were going to be amazing when they get older because they have been training under her and how bad we(my class) is. They watch through the window during our class and point and wisper and laugh. Its not so much fun. She teaches through negativity. Which in my book dosen't work out so well.
Before we got the new director(or more so the new teacher) it was nothing like this.
Then, on our VA trip Mr Sage tells us that he and one of our other AMAZING teachers are going to leave. Mr Sage is like my ballet dad. Then, we find out that none of the company members are going to be able to teach next year. So that cuts out another one of the BEST and my one of my FAVORITE teachers.
It is just not going very well in other words. After our Spring Concert me and all the girls who are in the upper division(who aren't seniors) are going to have to leave. Which is killing me because there is no where else to go. I guess we have to pick up classes here and there at different schools and at the univeritys dance department.
Next year we would heve the negetive teacher and another teacher who is a very sweet lady but I don't think she has really taught much i don't think so she doesn't know how to give corrections. I am almost sure I would shrivel up and die(my passion and love for dancing that is) if i stayed.
tonight during class, I felt like I couldn't do anything, one of the trainees in the company said something mean about one of teachers(who is also a dancer and has been going through alot as well), a couple of my friends(they are not Christians) really made me upset because they were -well- kinda making fun of my Jesus(I know He can handle it but it made me upset and I had to walk away cause I was about to cry), and on top of that the little girls were up to their wispering laughing ways and we had Mr Sage- the teacher that is leaving. This made me cry cause I know I won't have him for much longer.
So this is the complicated part of my life. God will take care of it though.
There is alot more going on but I have to go to bed soon so there is not time to write about it all.
There is a VERY exciting thing coming up though...
ANAVOX IS PLAYING SATURDAY NIGHT AND I GET TO GO!
Isn't that cool? The Anavox part I mean? Well now I must go to bed for I am tired.

Hey Guys! Just wanted to say Hi and tell everyone what up! I am going out of town tomorrow to VA for a High Shcool Dance Festival. Youth Ensamble is taking a piece aand we will be performing and taking master classes and such. I am Very Excited! Also, I am going on an Airplane for the FIRST TIME EVER!!! My mom is not going either, AHHHH! My friends mom is going though so i think i will be fine.
I went to an FANTASTIC concert the other night! HAWK NELSON, MATTHEW WEST, JERAMY CAMP, STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN AND HIS SONS' BAND, SANCTUS REAL, AND, BRITT NICOLE! Yeah it was pretty amazing! there was a speaker too! he was REALLY good! I got to meet Matthew West! it was amazing! Ohhh! and Jason Dunn DYED HIS HAIR BLACK!!! Personally, i don't like it very much i liked it blonde but, i am not in charge so that settles that.
well, just wanted to tell you guys what was goin on!

Hey Guys!
Sooo, I like had this photo journalism major follow me around all weekend and take pictures of me for a project for her school. it was kinda wierd at first, but she was really awesome!
one of the nights she was here the roads got icy and she spent the night with us. we watched movies and made cookies and things like that. then she went to church with us on Sunday and helped me in the nursery with all the babies(there were NINE actually. AHHH! :)). she also got to go to the ballet company's performance(which by the way was fantastic! :)) with me.
so like on mondays i go to a tutorial and she went there with me, to then we went ballet and she took pics on me in class. then she had to go...it was very sad. :( i got her email address though.
OH! i almost forgot, she was homeschooled and is one on nine kids! her grandparents live here so she said she would visit me!
OH! I let her listen to ANAVOX in my Ipod and she liked them! She also likes HAWK NELSON, TOBYMAC and RELIENTK!
Well, that was my good but kinda wierd weekend!

1) I love to play sassy characters on stage (in case you didn't know, I am a dancer- a ballet dancer) - it's my favorite. It is fun to act lke someone you're not! ;)

Feb. 13, 2007 - Weak...
I am a dancer...my mission is to show a reflection of Jesus to people that might otherwise not see Him...
Sometimes I cry for poeple who don't know my Jesus...I don't see how they live without Him... live without hope and peace.
Then, it dawns on me...sometimes I take for granted the very one who I cry for the people that don't know Him...the very one that gave me life, real life...the one that gave me my family...my friends...dancing- my passion...the list goes on and on...
Someone told me once that we are the strongest when we realize how weak we are without Him...then i realize...I am supposed to love Him and realize my own weakness...then the rest will fall into place...
That is how good He is...He will take care of everything... I just need to let go...

Feb. 8, 2007 - CRAZY AUDITION!!!
SO...I went to an Ailey audition with my friends Bethany and Kasey it was in Atlanta... so we all drove to Atlanta for 4 hours up there... that wasn't so bad because it was only 4 hours and all.... then we got there and the audition was like a real New York audition where they cut you there if they don't want you... i guess it is good to know then than having to wait... we all got in ..... so we were all really happy and excited and left to go home..... drove for three hours and stopped for dinner ( at Cracker Barrel) .....then when we were about 20 minutes away from Betheny's house there was an AWFUL accident right in front of us the dude was a senator who had had too much to drink at a few parties( it is not legal to drive if you have had anything much less too much...) .....he flipped over the median onto our side of the road and caused a very big commotion... helicopters and everything.... he isn't really hurt... we sat at a dead stand still for 3 HOURS in leotards we had had on since 7 that morning!!! ANYWAY.....I am not kidding....we parked the car- ate chocolate, colored in the dark, wrote a song, giggled, were random, danced, and then fell asleep (all of this with 3 people in the back seat of a pt cruiser)......anyway at about 1 o'clock they got everything cleared and we were on our way....we slept until 10 this morning.

Feb. 2, 2007 - SNOW!!!
Hey Guys! IT SNOWED!!! We woke up this morning and there was a white blanket of fresh snow all over the place! It is sooo gorgous! I found out though, if you don't wear gloves, your fingers hurt alot! :) This is only the second time i have seen snow! I found out also that i don' t really like snowball fights, especially when your brother comes up with the idea of smashing snowballs on your head. (The same brother that ran around the house with my ANAVOX cd!!!) That was not very fun, but i really enjoy sledding!!! I think it is my favorite thing to do in the snow. My brothers and i were singing the Hawk Nelson song, BRING 'EM OUT outside. It was pretty funny! Well, have fun today guys!

Hey Guys! I just wanted to say HI!
I have to do the science fair for school this year and i am almost done gathering info for it. that makes me happy! (last year i kinda waited till the last minute).
anyway... I have Mr. Sage tonight! his class is one of my favorites! it is really hard. I love it!
have you ever done something with a group and some people break the rules and you all have to be "talked to" about it? It's not really fun.
I have a new favorite Hawk Nelson song! its The One Thing I Have Left. Its on the Hawk Nelson website: www.hawknelson.com, pretty cool!
There was a Anavox concert on Sunday night! I couldn't go though. : < I am sure it went well though! OH! Speaking of Anavox! My brothers thought it would be fun today to run around the house with my cd! (while i was screaming...) A word of advice- never let your brothers know what they can do to get you. Haha!

Hey! I just wanted to update my blog! The Anavox concert was absolutely AMAZING! The guys did a great job (as usual!). I actually talked to Michael! HAHAHA! ( I am very shy! sometimes..... : )) It was so cool because God was definatly there. It is so cool how God comes, even to a little coffee shop, to be with us. My new favorite book in the Bible is Phillipians. I just realized that last night! ; ) It applies so much to me right now. I love that!

Sooo.....I was told to write a new entry so here it is! I get to go to two classes tonight (ballet classes that is)! That makes me happy! : ) I have been waiting for letters from my ballet summer intensive auditions and for other auditions to come. They are really fun- in a nerve wrecking kind of way! Hahaha! I have Mr Robert for one of my classes tonight! He is really fun!
I am SOOO excited! The Anavox concert is in THREE DAYS!!! I can't wait! I finally put the cd on my IPOD. Lord let me be like you, let me love the unloveable, reach the unreachable.... One of my fav Anavox songs!
Rehersal for Festival has been going well and we signed up for classes on tuesday. I signed up for Ballet, variations class, modern partnering, ballroom dancing, modern, pilates, acting for dancers, and theatre dance. I don't know which ones i'll get though. Any of them will be fun!

I wonder why Danya's looking for her anavox cd. Because it's like the best cd in the world! And she lost it. We're going to watch Pirates Of The Caribbean later. One of my fav movies! um...I think Danya found her cd...no wait, she didn't. and she is mad. now she is saying, "grrrr". she's still looking...I think she broke something...no, it's all good. We might make brownies later, which is very good with ice cream.
I have to go eat some! Bye!
