Moms of Many Exercise Challenge

Well, I'm still working away when I can.  Is anyone else still with me?  You know, I go to other ladies' blogs, and I see so many Mr. Linky's just overFLOWING with participants.  It's the exercise thing, isn't it?;-)  I know.  I don't want to exercise either.  Especially when I'm seeing no results.  I just don't have an hour a day to give in order to see the results I would like, but I still think it's important to be at least moving.  Is anyone else still with me?

Hi Becca!
YES! I am still here. Sorry I have not been updating, but there isn't much to say. Nothing has changed. And for a while there I was VERY discouraged, ready to quit altogether. I took a week off my exercise in futility, then went thru the torture of starting up again, and now I think I am back in the swing of things. It dawned on me that the purpose of this challenge was not necessarily for us moms to lose weight (although that would have been a tremendous benefit) , but for moms to find/make time to exercise regularly. And in that respect, I have been absolutely successful. :o)

I read someone's comment today who said she has lost 20# by just doing one mile with Leslie each day. That's half the work I have done, and I have lost nothing! So that stinks, but maybe good things are happening on the inside of me. ??

don't give up.. I am not, I just have it on the back burner still. ugh.. I did start eating right today, a modified plan since I was not feeling well yesterday. Tuesday I hope to be back on the full diet. I also hope to get back to exercising soon.

Hey Sally and Kristy! I'm so glad you guys are still there. You're right, Sally. The important thing is the exercise. It would be nice to be a size 8 once again, but well, maybe later. ;-)

I am still exercising. I walked two miles today. The dogs have really helped me move. We went from no dogs to two dogs. My youngest named hers Pinky. Can you guess her favorite color? :-) Life is good and fall is on its way.

I just found this site with the help of a friend and decided to join the challenge! Don't know that I'll be able to do everyday but I'm shooting for a realistic goal of 3x a week and we'll go from there!

I think we've just about come to the conclusion that whatever you can fit in is better than nothing. The goal is to stay active! :-)
