I’m so excited! I got a part in “The Sound of Music” at a local theater. I’m playing the part of Louisa. (She’s not the oldest girl. She’s the second oldest girl.) Here let me start from the beginning.

My mom’s friend from collage (Becki) called me to ask if I would audition for a play she was directing. I was thrilled to get a chance to possibly be in a play. I was also excited because, Becki had called and asked my friend Sarah to audition too. So, we went to auditions and both got call backs for the next night. The next night I was really nervous and thank the Lord Sarah was there to keep me calm. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend that day (or any other for that matter.) A few days later I got a call that I was in the play. The only down side to me getting in meant that Sarah didn’t but, thankfully she was cool about it.

It is so cool that you get to play in the Sound of Music! I have always thought that would be fun.

It is also really neat that you have such a good friend. My sister is my best friend, and I always enjoy talking to her, even though we aren't always nice to each other.
