Ok, so after my last post I had some girls agree with me and that's great, but I had one person disagree. Here's what he or she wrote.
In my last post I didn't say that there was anything wrong with talking to guys or saying that they're cute. I have some guy friends that I'm relativly close to, and I will admit that I often find myself saying that certain guys are cute. What I don't agree with is girls or guys practically throwing themselves at other girls or guys. When God created Adam he made one woman for him to be with. One. Singular. Not plural. God could have made several different women for Adam to choose from, but he didn't. If Adam had done what many people in out society do, then it would have meant that, if Adam had chosen Eve, their relationship would be...incomplete. God designed us to be able to give our whole hearts to the one person He has created for us to be with. When you date, even if you're careful, then you risk giving away a part of you that is meant for the person you're going to share your entire life with. Why do girls get so hung up on guys? Why do they try and flirt with almost everyone of the opposite gender? Why do they think its fun to date, get their hearts broken, and then do it all oover again? I ask these questions because last night I was hanging out with my friends before our volleyball game, and all of these well grounded girls went ga ga over a group of soccer players that came in to watch the game. I just don't understand why its fun to analize boys and decide if he's worthy of going out with. My point is that God didn't design us to give our hearts away to every attractive male that walks by. I feel that God is leading me to stand strong on this issue and say that dating is unhealthy. I plan on saving my heart for the man I'm going to marry, and I believe God will tell me who that guy is when I am an adult, NOT a teenager. That's all I've got to say. Wow! Life is so CRAZY around here! I’ve got volleyball, schoolwork, classes at high school, and household chores. I think God enjoys throwing abnormalities into my life and then laughing at how I respond.
So, this afternoon I have to go to Geometry class, and then I have to rush to meet my friend because she’s giving me a ride to my volleyball game tonight. Then I have to come home and finish Geometry homework, Vocabulary, and Literature. Doesn’t look like quite as much on paper as in real life. LOL! I’ve got to go. God bless! |

I haven't been able to blog in months because I forgot my password. Then, yesterday I remembered it, but id didn't work! Anyway, I'm finally up and running. YEAH!!! If you read my mom's blog you know that my family if moving ti Michigan. We've been waiting for months to be together with my dad, because he's already up there. Well, God has finally given us a way to be with my dad! We're going to live in a rental house until our house can sell. The offical moving date is this Friday! YEAH!!!!!! Anyway! I've got to go. So, since the beginning of January I've been going to rehearsals for a play. I've had alot of fun with all of the other kids doing it, but I suppose it has to end sometime. This weekend we'll have our performances, and on Saturday we'll have set strike. |
I hope that I'll be able to keep in contact with everyone. (By the way, the show is Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan. The version we're doing is modified so that it's not an opera. Thank goodness.

We finally got snow! It's only about an inch, but at least it's here. Yesterday we went sledding at our friends' house. I can't tell you how much fun the Punky had. She was clinging to me on the way down, but once we got to the bottem she was laughing and trying to climb up the hill. She was the cutest pink snow ball ever! Today, think about how we are all little pink snow balls to God, and we constantly try to climb up the hill by ourselves. All the while God is helping us to reach the top, and once we get there He takes us for the ride of our lives. |

I can’t believe how fast 2006 went by! The Punky (my sister) is going to be 2 in August, Bubba (my brother) is in 2nd grade, and Magoo (my other brother) turned 5! Everyone is growing and changing so fast that I can’t keep up. This past year I’ve grown more spiritually then I have in the rest of my life. I keep hoping that God will allow me to grow just as quickly this year as He did last year. Hope everyone is doing well. My God protect and bless you this coming year. |

Ok, so in the past week my brother, sister, mom, and now my other brother have thrown-up. YEAH! Won't this be a happy Christmas? My dad and I are just waiting to throw-up. So, from my family to yours "Merry Christblahhhhh." |

Im so sad that my play ended. (If you don't know what I'm talking about click on the entry titled Sound of Music) We had our last show this past Saturday. Im so excited! I got a part in The Sound of Music at a local theater. Im playing the part of Louisa. (Shes not the oldest girl. Shes the second oldest girl.) Here let me start from the beginning. My moms friend from collage (Becki) called me to ask if I would audition for a play she was directing. I was thrilled to get a chance to possibly be in a play. I was also excited because, Becki had called and asked my friend Sarah to audition too. So, we went to auditions and both got call backs for the next night. The next night I was really nervous and thank the Lord Sarah was there to keep me calm. I couldnt have asked for a better friend that day (or any other for that matter.) A few days later I got a call that I was in the play. The only down side to me getting in meant that Sarah didnt but, thankfully she was cool about it. Well thats all I have time for right now. Today was our first official day of school. YEAH!!! I’m so happy and I and sad. I’m glad that I’m able to wake-up every morning and know that I have things to do, and places to be. I’m sad because I HAVE to work not because I want to. Let me now walk you through the first hour of our school day. We were putting our pencils, markers, glue, and scissors into our pencil boxes when my brother Bubba took Magoo’s scissors and said “Hey! Cool scissors!” To which Mggoo replied “Please give them back.” Bubba ignored him and continued to cut the air when Magoo reached out to take his scissors back. It was then that disaster struck. Magoo got his fingers in between the blades as Bubba was cutting and got his finger sliced. There was blood everywhere and Bubba (horrified) ran upstairs. My mom cleaned it and Magoo continued to cry for the next 45 minutes. My mom (5 ½ hours later) is taking Magoo to the ER to make sure that it’s not anything serious. This is the most exciting 1st day of school I’ve ever had! Hope you’re doing well! God Bless!

School is starting in 2 weeks! Can you believe it! Honestly, it seems like summer just started and now its almost over. Im excited (and nervous) about school starting. 8th grade seems so much harder then 7th. (Please excuse my grammar.) How do you feel about summer? Please comment your thoughts. Im so excited about the co-op that my mom and her friends are run with 18 families in it. I cant wait to meet with other homeschoolers! Ive felt a little cut off recently. Anyway, if yall could pray for my family (my mom in particular) weve just had a death in the family. Thank you out there for those of you that've been with my family through these trying times. Im tired of all the fight in the world. Im tired of the disagreements, the rebellion, the pain, the deception, and the way Satan destroys our lives. Why in the world would God let us make our own choices?!?!?!?! I mean really the world would be SO much easier to live in if we all thought the same way.
