Hey! Thanks for the comment and the new info. This sounds great! I have a couple questions though... First of all, what did you have in mind for the non-fiction/fiction sections? Short stories? Or something else? Secondly, if the Devotion spot is not filled, I would be happy to do that. In a speech and debate club that I participate in, we often have to write devotionals to give to the class, so I have plenty of material for that. Finally, I liked "Vido" for a name for the magazine. It sounds cool to me. But the other two titles sounded neat too, so I'll be happy with whatever is chosen. Thanks again for putting so much effort into getting this started. Sorry for the lack of Entrys, I've have nothing to write about :) Sounds cool, if you dont mind that i pray about it first :) then let you know :) With the template, it looks great, but you might want to look into using wordpress or blogspot, just because there more publicized then HSB and more people go to them

Yeah, that sounds great! I'm glad there is somethings I might be able to do even if I don't write. :-) Okay! I am going to send a private message to all my friends....except you. lol :-) (and people who already know about it....like, Lula, Ellyn, and Samantha. :-) Should I just tell 'em....we are trying to start a magazine...stuff like that....then tell them to look at your blog for details? Hi Becca, I would be interested in helping out with what time will allow. I would probably only be able to write one article each issue, but I'd be interested in writing reviews, fiction, or devotionals. Are you hosting it on HSB? There's nothing wrong with that, but I've found that WordPress.com has helped me a lot with managing Kids of Faith (and as Samantha said, it is more publicized). However, Wordpress is more complex and I understand if you want to keep the magazine on HSB. Also, I think it might be helpful for you to come up with a mission statement... what purpose you want this magazine to fulfill. That way your writers can really grasp the vision you have for it. I honestly don't know what name I would like. :) Would you be allowed to email about this? It doesn't really matter, but I'll probably respond more promptly if we email. Okay, I'll try to get some stuff sent to you as soon as I can. I don't have a terribly busy day or anything, so hopefully I can get a lot put together today. I'm glad you're so excited. So am I! It sounds like a lot of fun, although I have never done anything like this before...I am so excited to be a part of it! Thanks for putting that call to action out on your blog. Has anyone else signed up yet? Oh by they way, I liked the idea of having three parts of a story in succession of each-other. I don't know if I will be able to do that or not, but for whoever signs up for that part, I think that's a great idea. By the way, I have a homeschool-blogger friend named Allison, or alizona, who is a great writer. Would you mind if I asked her to take a look at your ideas? I can't make any promises about her signing up, but just in case... Well, I'd better go get to work! In Christ, Christine

Cool. Thanks for the comment. I started working on some stuff to send to you yesterday, but I don't want to send the email with the attachments until tommorow. You see, my Dad is a chaplain in the Navy, so he told me that today he would bring home several short-ish devotions that he has at his office. So tonight or tommorow morning I will hopefully finish tweaking them and will attach and send them to you. Yes, I think it would be a good idea to do it quarterly until we really have it...settled. It sounds like you are really busy, so I know it must be hard for you to be working on this. I really appreciate all your work. My goodness, this was a rather confusing comment.
