To everyone who read this before now, I changed the title, and I didn't mean to spell "submission" "submition." I was tired and in pain. Lol So anyway...

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say, I got my first article for the magazine today!
It's from ChristineDaae,
so just wanted to say THANKS SO MUCH!
Tell me what of the following you want to do:
devotionals
humor
fiction
reviews (including new books, and movies that are coming out)
A couple of my guy friends have volunteered to answer girls' questions, so I was wondering if anyone was interested in submitting questions to them, or if we should wait for a couple more months before I tell them if they can or not.
So I'm thinking of calling it Penda Magazine, since it means Love in Swahili, and hey! Life's all about God's love, isn't it? :) also, it's a cool sounding word.
Please keep the stuff coming in!
And tell me what you're comfortable doing, or what you're not comfortable doing. If you're just not comfortable doing fiction for instance, I might stick you on humor of reviews instead. Get it? :)

I just saw your edit! :-) I'm sorry you are in pain...I didn't even notice the mess up. lol Do you think the magazine thing is going to work? That would be neat if it did!!! You have gotten a good amount of people willing to help!! You must be popular! :-) I PM-ed a couple people!!! I hope that will help some. Well, I am going to go now.

I know I already wrote to you, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm comfortable doing all of the above. However, I don't see "new" movies until they're out on DVD typically, so it might be hard for me to do totally current reviews. And I'm not sure how I'd do with humor, but if that is needed I'm willing to try.

I like Penda Magazine, that sounds really cool! Did you say you are planning to host it on Blogspot?

I love Penda, its such a cool word, and has a great meaning :D
So, are you planning on hosting it here on homeschoolblogger?? You might get more people reading it if it were somewhere more well known, like blogspot or wordpress maybe... just some ideas :)
I'm not sure what you want me to do...maybe I could try a devotional. As you know...I'm struggling for time a bit, but I'll see what i can do over the next couple of weeks.
