Track and Field

Hello! Today was the track and field meet for a small group of homeschoolers and small christian schools. These are what we do as seniors (1994-995):

100 m (did it, got fourth in the final heat, won my first one! w00t!
400m (did it, got third but ALMOST beat the person who got second.)
800 m (did it, got fourth)
shot put (DIDN"T DO. Couldn't throw if my life depended on it.)
football throw (see above)
triple jump (did, but disqualified once, and fell down the other time and hurt myself. =(
Potato shuttle (got SECOND! and hadn't practiced at all before hand.)
Running long jump (didn't place, but still had fun!)
Relay (MADE THE RELAY TEAM THIS TIME!!!! w00t! we got second, and the boy's team got third)

so I have three wonderful ribbons, and am very proud of myself for what I did. ^_^

Considering we didn' t actually have a real track to practice on, and the sand pit had a wobbly board instead of spray painted lines so we always tripped, we all did really well!

one person, Adam, beat the records for 400 and 800!!! we were SOOOOO happy!!!!

We had a great time, but I AM SORE!!!!

So I've been goign to EVERYONE'S blogs trying to get caught up! *pants*

Lol.  I just made Katie a new template, and it's all about Enchanted. I can't figure out how to get the link thing to work, so you'll just have to use my links on the sidebar. *cries*

Well WE ARE SO EXCITED TO START QUIZZING AGAIN!

we get the material in June, and so we can start studying. I'm going for an A team--which means that you're in the highest catagory--this year, and so I am going to study REAAAALLLY hard.

Let's see how long that lasts. =P Lol.
