Hey y'all!

So this week has been kiiinda crazy. :) But a good crazy.

This Monday I was supposed to get my e-mail from the Virtual Learning Center saying that I can log in and do my orientation for the VLC courses I'm taking. however, since there were a TON of late arrivals, I'm not getting that e-mail until TOMORROW. So I have 2 days in which I have to cover everything I usually do in 5. Not fun. :(

OH well. :)

Plus, this Monday (in other words, two days ago) I had my first guitar lesson. :) I'm just doing chords, none of the classical stuff, and I really like it. ^_^ But my fingers ACHE. :( and i have white welts on my fingers where the calouses are forming. not fun.

But it's worth it! I can play anything in the key of G Major now. :) I'm so happy. lol we'll be adding a new key and couple of chords every week.

Plus, I got my SusieMagazine yesterday in the mail!!! :D Yay! I'm happy about it. ^_^

I won a free book from them called "Girl Perfect." It's really good. the first chapter is a bit descriptive, and so I'm letting my mom read it first... then she can tell me whether i'm allowed to read it or not.

So yeah! Katie did her first Figure Skating lesson this Monday too.. same time I was doing guitar. It isn't everything she wanted, but it's better than nothing!

Only at the beginning of class, since she hasn't been on the ice in months she fell right onto both of her knees. She now has a tensor bandage on one leg, and they're both very puffy and purple. :( Poor girl. She can barely walk up and down stairs!

Soooo that's about it. :) I updated ibeauty and completenewbieguide if you want to take a look at them. :)

Hey everyone. :) How's life for all of you?

We started school on Tuesday. Hmmph. =p My VLC courses start on Monday, and I'm reallly really excited because my friend twin Alison is doing it with me this year. =D It's gonna be awesome.

So Katie and I have discovered the beauty of the webcam. I did know it was there, and have used it for skype, but as of yesterday and today Katie and I have had three photoshoots, and have taken over 1500 pictures.

they're awesome. I might post some after this. XD they're pretty dang funny.

So what are you all up to? =)

I need help with topics for ibeauty... any ideas? Please, if you have questions for ibeauty leave an anonymous comment, or use your username if you want to. :) I really really want your questions.

Hey everyone!

In case you didn't know, I was away at a girl's camp for the last two weeks. sorry I didn't update! I just didn't have time!

Camp wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. I had my breakdowns, since I don't like going to camp, but on the whole it was good. :) I learned how to do more things in windsurfing... and I only fell in once! (last year I fell in every 5 minutes approximately.)

also i learned that I LOVE.PAINTING. with watercolours. :) I made a really pretty picture of a beach scene with them. I might post a picture of it soon. :)

I almost wrote to the end of my journal... oops! lol I'm going to need a new one now. :) Man it's nice to be home.

Ok, so maybe not completey by myself.

Katie's gone for the weekend at a friends house, while mommy's gone with nana down to the states. :) so it's me and daddy for the next day and a half.

I can't say i really mind being practically alone in the house... no hearing mommy yell "Girls! Someone needs to wash dishes!" or "Laundrey time!"

lol

so something weird happened today... I slept in until 10.00! I never do that! :O I must be beginning to start the hibernation phase lots of teenagers go through... where they just sleep for 13 hours at a time. Lol

Last night, after dropping Katie at a friend's house out of town, Daddy and I were driving back, and the GPS said we shoul get home by 8.00 approximately.

it was wrong.

Unfortunately, GPSs can't see and pinpoint traffic jams. there had been a HUGE accident where a truck flipped and rolled off the road down, rolling about 15 feet down a hill! the truck was completely gone, and it was obvious the guy inside hadn't made it. he couldn't have. unless he jumped out before it crashed.

Because of all the fire trucks and ambulances etc, they had to take what is normally 3 lanes of highway and make it into 1 lane.

we were in traffic going about 5 kph for about 45 minutes. this NEVER happens where we live! It's always smooth going. we call having to wait to turn left bad traffic!

So we were pretty tired when we got home at 9.45. i passed out on the bed and then woke up about 12 hours later.

so here I am!

btw, if any of you guys have facebook, look up the application "Restauant City" by playfish. It is AWESOME! and addicting! extremely excellent entertainment.

there. I alliterated. ^_^
