Sunday - Remember This?

So, the PATT is 94 rows three times.  I just finished row 84 of the FIRST time.  WOOHOO!  Flying through it, eh?!?

I printed out the PATT on 4/22/2006, the day I ordered the yarn and needles.  More than three years later, I'm again determined to finish it.  Posie is going to enjoy it in the truck since she asks for a blankie when she's cold.  When I actually finish it, I will visit http://www.alittlefabricstore.com to pick out the backing for it.  Sweet!

I won't post about it again until it is completed.  With so many pressing projects, I HOPE this one will be priority one!  I have a sweet cardi, that dreamy afghan, a crazy scarf, a baby hat for a gift, and a secret going all at the same time.  WHY!?!

Thursday - In Comparison
Posted in How Funny!

Oh, my goodness!  I've been studying Hebraic education for quite some time.  Several years, in fact.  But, I just looked up what a typical "yeshiva" calendar year/daily routine would look like and we're definitely slackers!

YIKES!

Monday - Friends!
Posted in How Funny!

We had lots of friends over this weekend.  The first family came a bit after lunch on Saturday and we butchered 31 or 32 chickens and a couple of turkeys!  It was long and fun work.

Just as we were finishing up, the other family came with all the fixings for hamburgers for all of us.  All of our kids had fun well into the night while the six grownups enjoyed the evening in the backyard.

What a blessing spontaneous laughter can be during the spring!

Wednesday - "'...candle making industry threatened'."
Posted in How Funny!

If Thomas Edison invented electric light today, Dan Rather would report it on CBS News as "candle making industry threatened".

My favorite book on light is God's Lamp:  Man's Light, John D. Garr, Ph.D.
